not down in miami (were they are from) were they consider a pop group. it was always a miami dance freestyle act. i grew up watching them perform through the years down here and everyone associated with them(managers,producers,djs) always consider them part of the "miami sound" which was later tag freestyle.....

chao$, which song by Paula Abdul are you talking about? I'm very inclusive about who I consider Freestyle, e.g. Taylor Dayne, Debbie Gibson, but even I don't consider Paula Abdul freestyle. Her music doesn't even go well in mixes with Freestyle songs.
 
Expose

I consider some of Expose's early songs to be FreeStyle:

(1) "Exposed to Love"
(2) "Come Go with Me"
(3) "Point of No Return"

I started to have a problem thinking of them as a FreeStyle group--although the term was not part of my vocabulary back then, around 1990--when they released their second album. The same was true with the Cover Girls and Sweet Sensation. To me, all three groups will always have a place in early FreeStyle history, despite the fact they all tried to garner pop success with their sophomore albums--which left me feeling disappointed and abandoned.

oh and speakin of paula adbul ... has anyone an old song "Cindy Cruize - Baby You're So Good" ?? dont this song remind you of one of paula adbul's song? either that or it sounds similar to another song ...

I know several people who feel as you do about those songs, and I can understand why they would think that way. Sometimes, things become complicated when dealing with opinions and subjective remarks, which is what we have here: a subjective issue.

paula abdul falls under the pop/r&b dance catagory...
expose has some of the best known reestyle songs in freestyle history...lot better tha some of your worshipped-half assed singers =\
taylor dayne has been recognized as freetyle for TELL it to MY HEART, otherwise she is considered pop dance whatever!
definelty nonethless a dance classic!
