I recently took some "music research" time into several songs i heard on my older brother's wedding (It was recorded over in Vietnam about 9 years ago). Anyway, stumble upon a piece.. that has a particular "electronic pop rhymth" to it, so i searched for "Casablanca" on Kazaa, which lead me to "Paul Mauriat".. eh, seem like this now pretty old French composer is quite larger then life.. Take a look HERE for yourself, that's the most detailed album info i've found so far..
However i need yourself, not sure if you heard of him before, but i tried several proclaimed song of his so far on Kazaa (very excelent).. and willing to research and buy them all (after all, what more can i do to support for a .. practically inspirer of "Laura Branigan - Self Control [GTA3 rocks! 😛], i mean..damn this guys is seemingly assosicated with a lot of songs..including Killing me softly, later version of Endless Love by Luther Vandross and.. Mariah Carey?)..
Anyway, gee.. such a great artists, i though i share the name with you all, also hoping that you if know any other missing songs (such as "Casablanca" i early mention.. didn't mention that in any CD track list so far, i've seen. Though that one i heard on the wedding video had actual male voice singing (great voice too, not just regular go-over), and the one i've found on Kazaa does not .. which also lead to a good point (Electronic Pop and Easy Listening, doesn't that limit to instrumental melody creation.. soft and rhythmic at most.. not any use of vocal support?)
Thanks in advance for any help and comments :blah
