Thanks so much for your advice last time..it worked out so well, I'm coming back for more 🙂

Does anyone else have parents who butt in and try to ruin their relationships? Things with my boyfriend are finally going amazingly - but now my mother is starting in. I know that it's easy to say to "Just ignore her" but it doesn't work. She nitpicks everything we do - where we go, who we go with anything you can think of. Last night she told me that me and him didn't have a future together and didn't know why I was wasting my time - which totally broke my heart because we both (me and him) know that we have something special. I know that my bond to him and our feelings for each other is what is important, but does anyone else ever have problems with their parents like this? And how do u deal with it?
 
WELL I HAVE TO SAT I HAVE A BEAUTIFULL RELATIONSHIP WITH BOTH MY MOTHER AND FATHER
NEITHER ONE OF THEM HAVE EVER BUT IN THANK GOD LOL, BUT WE HAVE ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD EACH THER AND BOTH MY PARENTS GAVE ME THE SPACE TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. THEY MAY NOT HAVE ALWAYS APPROVED OF THE CHOICES I HAVE MADE BUT THEY HAVE STOOD BY ME WITHOUT JUDGING OR CRITICIZING ANYONE I HAVE EVER DATED. AS THERE CHILDREN WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS WANT THE BEST FOR US NOONE IS EVER GOING TO BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR US IN THERE EYES, REGARDLESS OF HOW GOOD THAT PERSON MAY SEEM TO US. SO MY ADVICE IS THAT YOU SIT DOWN WITH BOTH AND EXPLAIN HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR BOYFRIEND TO THEM AND MAKE IT CLEAR TO THEM THAT IT DOES HURT WHEN THEY VOICE THERE OPINION IN THE WAY THAT THEY DO AND THE BEST THING THAT THEY CAN DO IS STAND BY YOU DESPITE THE FACT OF HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT HIM IN THE END IT IS YOUR LIFE MAMA AND YOU NEED TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO THEM THAT THEY DONT HAVE TO AGREE WITH WHOM YOU DATE BUT BE THERE FOR YOU IF IN THE LONG RUN THINGS DO NOT WORK OUT. GIVE IT A SHOT DO WHAT YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING AND BEST OF LUCK 🙂
 
OMG Don't get me started!!! This post isn't LONG ENOUGH!! Lets just say he and I are no longer a couple and we were together for 7 years. Anyways my Boyfriend's parents now Like me so I'm happy!!
