Perky Paige Davis is packing her toolbelt and leaving TLC's popular renovation show, ``Trading Spaces.''
The network announced the change in a statement yesterday, attributing their new Paige-less look to a dynamic change in format which allows the show to ``focus more on the homeowners.''
Davis, who began hosting the popular renovation show in 2001, posted a touching au revoir on the show's Web site.
``I just wanted to take a minute to say goodbye,'' the 35-year-old TV personality wrote. ``I cannot begin to explain what an incredible journey this show has been for me. I love `Trading Spaces' so much, and I am very proud of what the cast and crew has brought to you.''
Despite the hunky-dory arrangement, rumors have been swirling that Davis' departure was prompted by recent bursts of risque behavior.
Last June, the New York Post reported that the married host engaged in an impromptu strip tease at a Broadway fund-raiser and there were also dogged hints of a sex tape circulating on the Internet starring the cheerful can-do chick.
