hello everyone, i wanted to tell you(cf'ers) what i saw last night on my way to work. i was driving to work about 10 pm and there was a kid(about 16-17 yrs old) that was driving a scooter in the next lane (next to me) and before i can make a turn to go off the main road there was a four door sedan that was cutting across traffic in front of us(me and the scooter boy) and hit the boy(on the scooter) head on(i saw the whole thing) the boy hit the front end of the car and flipped right over the hood(did about 1 1/2 flips) he had no helmet on the car behind me hit the breaks,(on time) the car that hit him kept going didnt stop,several of us see if the kid is all right and after shaking the cob-webs from his head, he says he's o-k no scraches not even any bledding from him he get up and everyons like (what the f*%#) he should have been hurt,even the cop that got there asked who's hurt and we pointed out the kid and the cop looked at us like (how can this kid be standing, the scooter was in pieces)anyway while i wasd out there the kid was o-k(although im sure when he got home he was probley in pain)and i went to work, but i couldnt beleive the kid made it through that because i seen him hit the car head on flip then get right up. in closing im just wanted to say be careful out there peep's and if you hit something or someone please stop.................vapro

LMAO!!! I know this is a serious thread but that was funny the way you just said that.

That kid is very lucky. VERY lucky.....and i'm glad to hear that he made it through that. I see alot of kids that play out here in there motor bikes, moped's, motor scooters, etc....

And they take risks and just get in the street thinking that were always gonna STOP for them. They need to be more careful. I appreciate threads like this. I always tell my little brother to be careful out there with traffic when he goes out on bike. Cuz one never knows. He doesn't own a motor one btw. I wouldn't let him. To me, he would need to get the feel of dealing with traffic by using a car first. I feel that's the only way he'll understand the roads out there.

WOW.. those scooters are lots of fun but they sure are dangerous in the city. 😱 that's one lucky bastard who didnt get hurt at all from an accident like that, vapro thats some freaky thing to witness.
