Yesterday, a friend of mine invited me to attend a live recording of a "question & answers" session with some of music's multi-platinum artists.
Some of you may be familiar with John Garabedian's "Open House Party", which is a syndicated national broadcast every Saturday night. Yesterday was also the Kiss 108 Concert @ The Tweeter Center here in Massachusetts.
Anyway, Mr. Garabedian invited Mario Winans, JC from NSYNC, Sean Paul, Avril Lavigne, Kimberly Locke, Cheree, Jessica Simpson, and some European pop band to his house where he conducted his interview with each artist in his studio and I was able to sit in just a few feet from the artists. It was awesome.
I personally spoke to JC and that dude is very, very cool. Very professional and has a lot to say. Avril Lavigne, although she is 19, seemed to be very bland and somewhat, dry. She was cute, though. Not really good with interviews. Mario Winans walked in with his 8 person entourage- all smelling like weed. Mmmmm.....Got my attention. He was cool.......I'm sure he was stoned outta his ass. Sean Paul, looks nothing like he does on videos. He was looking kinda scruffy. But, again, very nice guy. And, also stoned.
I was talking to John Garabedian (who has 3 mansion sized homes, and a airplane runway his in backyard at each home) about some Freestyle artists and he chuckles....gives me a smirk, and tells me some interesting things about Lisette Melendez. To put it in a few words- a royal bitch. I'm not surprised. Also, the girls of Seduction, apparently were just "pretty faces", with really no talent whatsoever. Supposedly, Martha Wash's vocals were recorded for the group......things that make you go, hmmmmm.
He invited me back to his house to attend a live broadcast. I'll definitely be back. 🙂
