There he was, standing outside the back porch
With that certain white muscle T-shirt and those baggy blue jean pants
Looking at a Low-Rider issue magazine with interest
Jamming out to his favorite, bass music
His smile, his laughter and his way of being was beyond compare
And now he left us with his sweet memories to cherish and share
I still can't face the fact that he's gone
But deep in my heart i know he's in heaven where he belongs
I promise i will try to be strong for you and your family
But i will keep in mind your memories will live forever and thats definitly
And today as we shed these tears, it indicates how much we are all going to miss you
And i hope where ever you are, you'll be watching and protecting us to
So today we close our eyes and leave the pain that we have been
And think of that saying...................only the young go to heaven.
