a couple months ago i bought a very cheap pirated copy of fruityloops studio (read about it at www.flstudio.com) .. a very fun producing program. anyway i done some euro, breakbeats, dancehall (ok a little unorthodox of me but hey it's a lot of fun) and also some FREESTYLE so here's a litte of what i've conjured up myself in the process, NO LAUGHING i know it sounds a little mechanical but hey tell me if its any good, the program's really hard to use and if anyone can help me out then thanx that'd be great, u can make songs in this program and i havent figured out how yet.
 
not bad... sounds like the start of something to me.... keep messin' wit it.... add a bassline & some simple hooky parts & samples.... sorry i don't use that program so i can't offer any help.... 🙂

ya i guess it is a start, but what to.. yup i've got a bassline made but its dumb thats why i didnt include it. i'm still trying to figure stuff out but when i do i'll try to improve / elaborate

TRAN!!! WAS UP BRO!!!! I didnt hear anything to laugh at bro!! Just keep at it and learn every thing you can about that program so you can take full advantage of its capabilitys. Im not sure if I got the entire song, but what i did hear was a advanced more up to date, progressive Planet rock beat. Sounded like BPM was at like 140. The bottom line is ...This is how it all starts for anyone who gets involved in production. You start messin with something and in time you get better and better untill you finally have it pimped. Do you relize that if you mess with this program every day and start talking to Your Local Guitar Canter....getting facts on equipment and gear, that in time you will be the next freestyle producer? Dedication and focus will get you there. People are usually good at what they are intrested in. Like in school you excell in the subjects that you can get with because maybee its something that actually stimulates your mind. Music is the same way. From here on ..You must study and dicect each track you listen to. learning when to drop bass lines and throw them back in, timeing measurements, Break Downs...like what you did with the Hi Hat and lazer drum in your sample I just heard. You already doin it dog! Just dont Stop!! Only you controll your fate and make things happen in your life. You went out and got a music program....meaning instead of using your money to go out and buy a freestyle CD..you went and got something to make your own damn freestyle cd. You taken it to the next Level Blood!!!

GALVATRON / MEGATRON SUP BRO good 2 hear from u again, hey now thats the sorta talk i wanna hear! and it sounds like you've had experience working with this sorta stuff too. by the way that is the entire song since you were wondering, i kno it kinda cuts out abruptly at the end i havent got that part of the program mastered yet. well thanks for listening too, and yup again i'll keep messin with all the stuff i've got. hey freestyle's what i live for, and well someone's gotta keep it goin this far down the line.. :cool LOL

Fruity loops is ok get Reason its much better also try to grab a keyboard for urself so the quilty of the stuff u produce doesent sound nintando
 
hey tran after u make a finished file of it, try importing it into protools (which u can download a trial version for free)... protools is great for "cuttin it up" etc
