To be honest, no. However, we didn't go into the gay section of the city for long. We were at Rockafeller Center, 42nd street, and a TGI Fridays. They weren't the most "gay friendly" places to try and share a kiss.

One must always watch your backs.....never know where a gay basher could be.

I'm a straight woman, but I know for a fact that it is hard for people who are LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgendered) to act out the way that they want to act out, especially in America, where we still live in a society that still does not accept the gay culture, even though it may appear accepting and show love to gay people. Don't let your eyes deceive you. Let it also be known that we have a president in office who is also close-minded to these American citizens.

I seen a transgendered woman walking up the street in Harlem (near W. 135th Street station) a few years back (some can pass as women and some cant - THIS ONE did not pass as a woman, yet dressed up like one). Two closed-minded men and an elderly woman turned back to look at this person; the two men said some negative comments and I overheard one of them say "that dude needs to get knocked the **** out". The person was acting out, yet still in danger of getting jumped because of two negative men who made negative comments.

And one would think that America is a "free country"; well reality is that its not.

Nah. I just see how you've been single for awhile now. I know you deserve someone that's right for you. You're doing it right though. Kisses can wait. They say a love relationship is best when it is friendship based as it's foundation.

Just got back from date #2.

Went to the movies (saw TransAmerica) and then to "tackiest resturant" in NJ (Lee's Hawiian Islander) for dinner and karaoke.

He enjoyed my singing. I guess that's a good thing. :lol

and yes, this date, I got a kiss. 😉 It was a quick one in my car, but I got one. Got to feel his scruff on my face.

y'all are crazy.

Well, for #3, his family lives in Boston, so he goes up to spend holidays with them. We'll discuss #3 when he gets back.
