I FINALLY GOT POWER ALMOST 28HRS LATER WTF AND IT TOOK ME 9HRS TO GET HOME...I ALWAYS DRIVE TO WORK AND YESTERDAY I DIDN'T FOR SOME REASON ARGH...ONLY PARTS OF THE CITY HAVE POWER
 
OHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! I thought I was going to f*cken die in this HEAT! WTF? WHY did all these states lose outage at the same time? We just got power at 6pm today and I went out on my terrace, yelling and screaming like a f*cken LOCA cheering like a wild woman! DAMN I'm spoiled with my Air Conditioner! But my husband is worse than me! I couldn't stand the ice bags in the Beach cooler and thousands of water bottles, tuna fish, bread, sodas, the DARK, the candles, the radio repeating the news, NO COMPUTER and these damn mosquitos that got into my apartment! What a horrible experience! :crap I hope it stays on now!

Most of the residential parts of Toronto stll don't have same goes for the suburbs...I WAITED OVER 2 HOURS TO FILL MY CAR UP WITH GAS :mad

i had to take stairs to and from the 11th floor in pitch black with a tiny flash light up to 8 times a day... and NO HOT WATER!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I COULDNT HAVE BEEN ANY HAPPIER TO COOK TODAY.....RICE, BEANS, AND FRIED CHICKEN, I ALSO MADE MY MOM CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP, SHE WASNT FEELING SO GOOD..:sick AWWW , GOD BLESS MY MOM.... LOVE U MA'......

OKAY, IM HAPPY , HAPPY, HAPPY,.............LOL.......

OH BY THE WAY , HUNG OUT DRINKING BEERS WITH A FRIEND AND A FEW OTHER PEEPS....WE MADE IT A NICE PARTY, WITH CANDLES ALL AROUND US..LOL...WE MADE THE BEST OF IT....NOT TO MENTION THE BARBECUES GOING ON OUTSIDE... ALL NITE..........

as for me i live 911 all over again :sosad i was nervous like b4 i was at downtown manhattan just 2 1/2 blocks away from twin towers site and when i saw the lights go out in a store i was in i didnt think nothin of it then when i heard it on my friend radio that the whole area had lost power i was like wtf!!!

then i see a whole massive of ppl on the streets, there were cops everywhere, fire fighters i mean it was somethin out of a movie but it wasnt this shit was real and the thoughts on everyone's mind was that this was another terrorist act from the muslims fawk!!!!!

so many ppl were using the cell phones the calls werent goin thru ppl makin lines to use the public phones didnt work either luckily for me i just gotten off the train like 15 minutes earlier b4 the power went off i dont know what i have done if i was in the train stuck who knows where my main thoughts were on god and my family and since i couldnt get in contact with them but only options was to get safe at home and do whatever i can

it took me more 3 and half hrs just to get home when usually it takes me like 45 minutes just from downtown but to show ya what i went thru is not easy ppl arguin just to get on the buses and on the cabs it was crazy i had to walk the williamsburg bridge again just to get to brooklyn then from there take 3 buses to get close to my area so i got home all tire and shit, and being hot that it was that day and hungry as well u didnt know what to do all the stores were close and u had to go with what ya had in the house talk about tryin to survive but anyways ppl these are just things that we all should learn and never forget cuz theres much more worse things that are gonna happen so.....remember this day

MY CEL PHONE STILL AINT REALLY WORKING AND WE HAVE POWER FOR LIKE 4 HOURS AND THEN IT GOES OFF FOR 2 HOURS...IM GETTING REALLY ANNOYED NOW AND ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!!!

I was so afraid cos in the beginning I didn't know USA had the blackout too... so yeah it freaked me out even more when i did find that out, cos again, NY was affected... be careful everyone... god bless NY

haha mamita i know i know.. it's hot.. but i still can't take a shower in a colddd water.. at least room temperature, but this one is just cold u know :crap.. i gotta do it old style.. boiling water and mix it with cold water to get warm water.. crazy :sosad.. but at lteast i got internet access again! hehehe

Yeah and last night I couldn't sleep with all the alarms BLARINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG and my windows were open cuz the power went off again at night so no AC so it's just like insane...but hey it could have been worse

12 HOURS OF NO POWER - really weird. i thought it was just our house, then i found out it was the entire block, then i put on my battery radio and realized it was everywhere. then my dad had the liberty of inviting my aunt & grandpa over because they dont have a gas grill but we do. great.. and all those candles in my house reminded me of stereotypical horror movies. o well im glad we got the power back early the next morning. im so damn glad i wasnt in the subway or an elevator during the blackout, i heard this woman spent 14h in one. take care everyone :hithere
