Mayor Bloomberg announced the city's 12 most violent schools today...and my alma mater South Shore High School here in Brooklyn, was on the list. While Im not surprised considering that a student was stabbed to death during my senior yr in 1993, I think it's really sad that the school is considered to be one of the most violent in the entire city. There was a time when it was such a good school. Unfortunately, times have changed and so has my neighborhood and the school is now a hellhole. Geez, what happened to the days when Alisha went to the school and most of the students listened to freestyle?!

There's violence everywhere. This is why i'm kinda hesistant in having kids. Because if I raise them sweet and innocent.....someone will always be there to corrupt them. If I raise them street smart....he'll prolly get into alot of fights and feel insecure and unsure of the world. I wish things were different.

:sosad There’s violence everywhere and there’s hate everywhere. I remember when I studied in NY (Beach Channel HS), there was a lot of Hate from everyone and you had to have your boxing gloves on all the time and if you didn’t you have the boxing gloves on you had to be slick to outsmart the bullies (there were girl bullies too, I remember they were NEVER smart that fo’sho :lol).

It still doesn’t change the way I was brought up. I miss those days here too. Down here, too much drugs in schools.

Baby..Im 28...he probably graduated a year after me. It's such a small world!

Carlitos...Im not sure if that school was on the list but it's posssible. Most of the 12 schools were either in the Bronx or Brooklyn.

Actually He Didnt Graduate...his Last Grade There Was 9th Lol--- Hes Very Smart Though
