Hey all
I'm in business in Manhattan (midtown). Any good stores to check out that sell freestyle? I went to Virgin Megastore in Times Square. The tower records in DC sells more freestyle than they do. lol

Thanx.
I'VE FOUND THAT VIRGIN SUCKS AS FAR AS FREESTYLE. TOWER IN THE VILLAGE ISN'T BAD.

Hey tarp

You not gonna find Freestyle in Virgin Megastore nor Circuity City etc...I tried all those places. Also J&R Computer World located in City Hall used to carry a nice amount of Freestyle but now they ain't got nothin. The best place to find Freestyle is always online.

Hi Tarp. The good old days of finding freestyle records and CDs for sale in NYC (or for that matter, anywhere else) are gone. Like Carlito said, your best bet is probably DiscoRama in the Village. But you can also check out Vinylmania a couple of blocks over at 60 Carmine St. if you are interested in vinyl. The usually have a supply of freestyle 12"s available. As far as online shopping goes, check out http://www.boogitybeat.com. They have a great selection of freestyle and the prices are very reasonable. Hope that helps.

barely any place in manhattan sells freestyle and that's sad. i know that there are two place near where i live that sell freestyle. there's a place called music stop and fye in 86th street in brooklyn that sell freestyle. i know music stop had a lot of albums from the artists like johnny o, cynthia, sweet sensation, etc. i don't know if they still sell them

Check out Ebay from time to time. Ebay is the place I build up my collection. I found Freestyle cds for $2-$4 there. The only place to find Safire 88 album cd is on Ebay.
