I have post the event all over the place I even put the
Buffet fee, I am sure everyone knows all the info, I also
Have posted that everybody is welcome to come that Includes Promoters,
Artist, labels or media.

So I am sure everybody knows or is talking about it..

My ups and downs. You’re the first one to approach me for an interview
Maybe the interview will not be good for some or maybe may be but I will not keep anything or hold anything back.

And I will not put it or make it to look like a ROSE because in reality is not or has ever been. But I have over come all that and just move forward without looking back. I think that if I was weak. I wouldn't be posting right now I would have gone out of the business long time.

Some people attend to harm me or talk or say a lies about me or put other people against me. And what I hate the must is that people don't ask them this- Ok you have said this about Freddy Lopez, but now what you did to him for him to do that to you>! I know I have a bad temper or I am strick and just because of that don’t mean I am a bad person, only the people that I have seen or has tried to hurt me or harm me see that bad side of me but because its not fair and I have to defend myself.

I mean I have heard that some artist that where never sign to ELI RECORDS have said that they are with ELI and ELI doesn’t pay royalties. But they has never been with ELI. I think that all this conflicts started with the first compilation of my show, EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ "Estilo Libre" Various Artist. That compilation was done to help out and raise fund for the freddy lopez show because it was confronting money problems and to keep it in the air I need it to do something before it was too late.

All of the artist that where feature agreed that the compilation was going to be press for that reason, but they had the rights to released it to another company because it was never sign to ELI, so people thought that just because they saw the artist name and song in that compilation they where part or was sign to ELI. Which that was never true. I even saw artist doing business cards and pictures using my logo.But I never said or did anything against them. And in reality they had no permission to do that

And in reality there was not enough sales from that compilation and didn’t do good enough for the show to survive that’s why I had to look for 4 sponsor in order for the show to survive, I still have that compilation in the closet doing nothing and I still have a lot of them, so now every time I do a show I give them out for free. That compilation is not the first compilation from ELI and was never sign to ELI because ELI was never register or existed at that time only the name I used because I didn’t want to use PRYME TYME RECORDS name so from there I decided to open the label and to make ELI.

So now people will know just a little bit, that compilation was the first from the show individually but had nothing to do with ELI directly. And at leats in return EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ has also supported those artist’s and have been promoted trough the show. For doing that. And if there’s any artist that where featured in that compilation reading this. I want to thank them all for trying and supporting the show. Even if it didn’t work out at least the good intention where there.

The rest will be mention in the interview with you.
Just to metion something fast. Their was 7 artist in a night we all where going to perform and someone took my performing cloths and trew a red drink in top of it and broke my clothes for me not to perfom. And when I went to the dressing room you can imaging how I felt..

I had to perform with jeans with ordinary cloths, after I pend money on my performing cloths, I had to perform no matter what, but still rock that night. And that’s just a small something so you can imaging the rest what people and specially some (Artist) has done to me. That’s why I am strong and don’t trust noone.

Manny, PRYME TIME RECORDS, Was another thing I went trough.

Yes their hurt me by lying and manipulating the situations. But they do not own my first album "TU JUGATES CON MI AMOR.

I PAID FOR EVERYTHING and I OWN 100% Plublishing and there's no contract sign by me for a full lenght album nor there where ever a separate contract or papel stating that I have to stay for another option year. Becasue clearly they mention that we would have to sign another agreement to extend the contract or else the contract will be automaticly suspended.

If We have negotiated the album for them to signed it we would had to agree upon the terms that they and I will request and what would be the percentage that I would get from the album.

Another thing if a company is a partnership Inc. both parties must sign and have both signatures and notarize the document (Contract). My contract is not. But only Michael Lunn signature and the way he put it in the contract he put himself as the only president. it does have another space for his partner's signature.. And that right there shows a lot, Unless the system has changes.( legal policies) that in a partnership company only one can sign and forget about the other. Why would a company be an Incorpartion (partnership) them?

I am going to check what are the posibilities of getting my full 100% rights back from "BABY LISTEN TO ME" since I am the song writter, I need to findout what can be done if a label close down or maybe claims backcrupt.

Where would those songs will go? in limbo land?. If you look at it I sign the contract with PRYME TIME RECORDS, INC. That means that if they are register and are using their incorporation company tax ID number . They have to use that ID for any transactons made or negotiations or Lincensing under that name with my song because my contract was sign with PRYME TYME RECORDS, INC. for a single "Baby Listen To Me". Not with Michael Lunn or Dennis directly or as an individual contract directly with them. I will not be a legal transaction if they use their own personal Tax ID number and not thier business Tax ID number .

So that means that Michael Lunn Or Dennis doesn't own the tracks directly but are the self employees for that incorporated company. I didn't sign a direct contract with an individual but with a Incorporation so if that company is close them those contracts are close and they cannot do anything with those songs under a diferent company's name their can only act before they close PRYME TYME RECORDS. they would have to know what they are going to do with the catalog before they closed. not when they close. so I have to find out. Which I think I know the answer but is always good to know first before you act.

if that label is not in business any more or have close for good. then those contrat are automatictly void. and the rights goes back to the original owner?

If they close they cannot recieve, lincense, sell the catalog, royatlies and cannot collect money or sale under that label's name incorpoarted becuase if they do, they will need to file those income taxes.

I have never recieve any statement from them to at least let me know if they have recoup or sold anything. That right there is wrong too.Even if they are not getting sales or are not selling they still have to notify us. the artist have to know what is going on and what's happening.

If they still in business, the contracts with the artist are still open to recieve and collect any royalties sales.

TO All the artist that where sign to Pryme Tyme I ask of you to call me directly or emial me, We need to stay together and fight back for our rights, and we need to send an accouting their even if I have to pay for it. We need to have our rights backs if they are not doing anything with our songs. Its time to act now...

*freddy, you got Support & Respect from me, bro. You keep doing your thing man, along with the rest of the ELI Records' Family. Also, I'll buy a copy of The First Compilation of "Estilo Libre". But I'll let you know when (short on funds right now). 😉 We'll continue to take Freestyle/Estilo Libre Music to another level. Whether people like it or NOT.

It sounds like you've been through quite a bit, Freddy...actually, I've heard so many negative Freestyle stories that I'm surprised that some of you still put up with the negatives and still try to maintain the movement. I have to give you respect for trying to survive amidst those who have disrespected you.

I have always heard good things about you from the artists that you have worked with, and even though I only broadcast throughout the Chicagoland area, you're welcome to be my guest and tell us your side...

I'm hoping that the WLUW webcast returns soon, but even if it's just for the Chicago radio audience, let's maake a plan for an interview.
