Not to hijack this tread but what i saw and heard of Nu Image on Saturday night was amazing. This was a crowd that where propably fans of classic freestyle and dance music back in the 80s and probably in no offence to any of the new school acts never heard of them yet when they listened to manny, Nu Image and the other acts went crazy dancing. Damn did you see those white girls dancing to Nu Image's Urban dance songs and freestyle classics. Man thats what i am talking about They where able to take it to the next level with a non website crowd and that is what the music needs. Everybody did a great job that night including the leading songstress of classic freestyle Nayasia.

shows and work on new material.

So, this is to officially announce that I am working on a second album for Nyasia.

At this time, there is no date when this will come out as we are still in the very first stages still.

The name of the album will be "The Perfect 10"
and will have brand new material aswell as new remix/edit mixes of
3 of her Mic Mac classics.
(yes, I will be talking to Mickey first, before ya ask......)


Answers to some questions:

Why now?
Why not........We have no huge expectations on this second album.
We are doing it because we want to and want to give something
back to the fans who have supported Nyasia through these years.
If it does well, great. If it doesnt do well, we are fine with that.
Its a project that we both felt would be fun to do and thats all.

Will it be Freestyle?
Yes. What is planned so far:
5 NEW Freestyle Dance tracks
2 Ballads
3 New Remixes of her Classics

Who's involved?
Writers already working on new songs are:
Safire & Kenny Diaz
Paradise & The Santana Twins
Nyasia
Mickey Garcia (from the Banging Beats Volume 2 Comp)
and others we are waiting confirmation on

Why is it called "The Perfect 10" ?
This album will be released pretty close to 10 years after her first album
and "10" having personal meaning to Nyasia which she will reveal on the album itself.

This is what we know and can say at the moment.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
I would ask that you respect this announcement and Nyasia by keeping your negativety to yourself.
If you are not interested in this or dont like her music or whatever,
just like switching a radio station, go to the next thread.

I, for one, am proud to have this project in the works and hope you will embrace this labor of love.
For those who said I couldnt, well...I did.............

No questions just blessing and best wishes to a person who deserves it. Naya congrats,. If there is anything that I can offer please do not hesitate. Paradise your a stand up guy and your hands are like king midas to say the least I truely do enjoy your work.

We know theres still a great deal of work ahead and we are willing to do that work
to get Nu Image where we need to be.
The one great ingredient we have is team work. NU IMAGE is just a name.
It's the people behind that name that help us reach the level we are aiming for.

I have to take a minute to give Vic of Nu Image his due props.
I know Vic will not read this, because he does not frequent any of the message boards, but I still would like people to know.

Vic has been in the recording studio with both myself and Tyree and watching him work is amazing. He only wants the best and hottest sound for our music.
Vic is very strong minded and determand and sometimes breaks night in the lab as he calls it, just to make sure we are getting just that.

When I asked Vic do you think people will feel where were coming from with this new sound, he answers. We need to beleive in what we are doing and the music we are creating before anyone else can.
To see the crowd dancing like we saw Sat night when we premiered our first Urban Dance recording was what Vic has been working so hard on the production for.

He took a formula and rolled with it and never looked back or had a second thought. He always says I'm gonna do me and I want nothing but the hottest beats , sounds and the best programs out there to create such.

While I spend my free time catching up online with our website Vic uses his computer for purchasing the latest and hottest sounds out to date.
He says my computer is for 2 things buying the latest and hottest programs and sounds available and making music , thats it., This is why I know he won't be reading this but I thought I would share the passion Vic has for becoming successful at what his is doing.

I hope Naya doesn't mind but we are currently producing a new track for Nyasia's album and it's definately fresh and new sound for Naya. It has been such a pleasure working with Naya in the studio and she can tell you how we work , we are serious about what we do and how we do it. We will take no short cuts and in the end it will show.

Dave you have always from day one recognized what we were trying to do musically and your support is for our music is always noticed, thanks you for being there Sat night , that means a lot to us.
Dave The One Mendez & Nu Image will be bringing something ill as Dave like to phrase it in 2005. Dave Thanks again.

Latinfreestyle, not sure yet sweetie, but when I find out you will def be one of the first I tell 🙂..oh and my Christmas was as beautiful as I have always wished it to be 🙂 thanks.
 
Its great to see this support from CF.

To answer some questions we have been getting, there is no date as of yet for release. This is something we DO NOT want to rush.
We will be doing this album between family, work, shows & other projects.
Whether the album does well or not, we still want it to be known as great quality album. There is that thing called "Labor of Love" involved here...

This album is my baby and want to do it right with this being my first and all.

So far, locked down songs are from Mickey Garcia, Nu Image, Safire and Edwin Ramos.

We will keep you updated as we progress.
