Wassup guys!!

how are you? to answer your question, There's not enough demand for vinyl's at all may out of 10 only 3 people has requested vinyl's a lot of the stores don't carry vinyl's any more I mean some yes but the CD has kill the cassettes and Vinyl's, I did all the Vinyl's design I was so crazy about releasing them but when I started doing my search and sending and calling a lot of the record stores here in NY, They didn't want to order nor wanted to carry them because they don't sell it any more people want CD's now this days. And only DJ's record store may have but is not enough. In Vinyl's none makes any money only peanuts feel free to ask any record label and they will tell you the same thing Vinyl's are way much spensive then anything anyone else

Also I do have distribution like warlock but I can't afford to throw myself again the way I did before me or my artist will never see any more until they recoup their money and if the compilation dont sell enough for us to see money is a LOST..

I came up with an idea that can help artist to see any kind of royalty sales, each month. I have change the policies of the label. I cannot afford to keep loosing money in compilations so I decided not to have a 3rd party at this time. I was lucky enough to recoup all the money I spend in paying producers for productions on my first album TU JUGASTES CON MI AMOR" (Which I Owen) and other productions. and when me and my employees started selling them trough the Internet and mailing list and events I recoup and made money and I thank GOD for that, and then I open my labels and another business which has nothing to do with music.

The compilation that came out is called "EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ "La Nueva Generacion" which is distributed by WARLOCK. Since this day I have not seen any type of income nor any money but I don't blame them at all is that they have to recoup what the spend for that compilation. It's a year 1/2 and no check so I cannot afford for this situation to keep happening, NO one will last or survive like that.

Also this is just an example: if you press 500 copies of CD's the cheapest price maybe could be $1,500,00 black and white color (Or could be more depending and if you want to make the cover in color is way much higher) only for 25 ins to run plus the mastering (Music Laboratory for sound quality) it cost $625.00 we talking about $2,125,00 and is is the distribution who is doing this manufacturing they cannot sell the CD single for 5.00 they have to sell it as whole sell price maybe $2.00 each so for that price the distributor wants the store to buy a box minimum to get it in that price so if the the stores don't want to buy the box then they has no choice but to sell then the CD's as retail price so the don't and will not make anything at all. The stores will want to make extra money so they just don't carry the CD's I mean it depends because some stores do buy a lot but this is just an example that can happen specially if there's a big demand for the music, lets be honest now this days if some one hears a song and they like it they will downloaded in any website like KAZAA and others so pummmmm NO Sells ... that why I stay away from giving promos, giving promos only hurts the packet. mean NO money and money spend in production for nothing.

I hope I answer your question clear at least clear enough to understand because my English and spelling is not good at all in english. So I hope every one will understand and now will know what is happening in the music industry right now. its not our music is music in general..

I will continue doing advance copies, unless and until I see a change. Also I wanted to announce that E. L. I. RECORDS will close doors for now and some of the songs will be deleted from the catalog. We will continue in a different label called LUFRE RECORDS (Partnership record label) some of the songs will be transfer to LUFRE,

Please help us decided, we want your vote I will put a vote page in the website. help us choose the best songs you like on ELI. The page will be up by tomorrow night hopefully.

Also BRONXNET CHANNEL 69 in which airs EL SHOW DE FREDDY LOPEZ has change the time and date. now you can see it every SATURDAYS at 11pm. This also looks bad cable vision wants to buy the station if they do there will be no more show in the air.. they want to change channel for commercial. We have been in the air for 8 Years already promoting ESTILO LIBRE (Freestyle Music) this is the only show so far that has focus and supported FREESTYLE since it was born the first freestyle artist on the show was TONASIA & Mrs. JUDY TORRES.

To continue any other conversation please let's use FREDDY LOPEZ "Mentistes" in this website, I dont want to use NYASIA's page to talk about any other thing besides her song.

Thanks
Freddy Lopez

Freddy I don't know how you do business but if Warlock is doing your distribution Adam Levy (The owner of Warlock) is a personal friend of mine. Let's not sell Naya short. There are plenty of mastering labs out there that will master a lacquer for you at a good price. You can then go to Hub Servall and press up records for a reasonable price. As for vinyl not being in demand; you must be staying in your apartment too long. There are hundreds of hungry D.J.'s that are out there and madd mom and pop record stores that you could do business with. The potential is there you just got to be hungry enough. Ask Latif over at Metropolitan; he hustles and bust his ass and is the backbone of Metropolitan Records. As for pressing CD's you can call CD Depot in Miami. They press all my material, do my artwork, supply all the jewel cases and shrink wrap my cd's cheap. Call Ana Gonzalez at (305) 871-8487. She is the owner and tell her that you are a friend of mine and that I told you to call. Mildred does all the artwork for her and she is wonderful.

Freddy the people on this site do not need to know how you run your operation and as for always mentioning artists royalties and all the other statements that you make in reference to your artists. Keep that sh*t behind the scenes between you and your artists only. Put
some good music out and keep your posts informative. Be concise and too the point. I want only the best for Naya cause she as well as me have been there and done that.

Smoothie will holla at everyone on Friday cause he's in the process of burying his grandmother who has passed away earlier this week. One Love to my CF family.

Smoothie has spoken. Holllllllaaaaaaa !!😀

Hi Freddy.

I ordered my copy of Nya's song. Can't wait!

I was just curious if a copy was sent to Miss Querry at DMA for a review. It would be nice to see Nya's name in print regarding new freestyle!

Since she's a Mod of the DMA forum, she'd be easy to get in touch with.

Ya know I love the song !!!!!!!!!!
We play it almost every week, but do not play the complete song so it can be recorded.

It's only fair to Nyasia that we buy the single.

Great job on the song.
DJ Paradise
