I just finished hearing a song by these two CFs,,,
"TAKE ME AWAY"

This sh** is slamming,,,
I had to pump up the volume,,, even thou the neighbor from upstairs cstarted complaining,,,,
But what the hell... good things doesn't always come

Damn I remember recording that song!.lol you sometimes you have good memories about your recordings, and this was one of them!.lol we had a goof!.lolol I miss my little Georgie Porgie pudding pie, kiss the girls and make them cry.😀

The long intro/build-up is what made the song so good. The only thing missing from the song was edits!!!
 
you Rhoq your right, it was missing some edits..loland you know we only performed that song once.
 
yeah "take me away" was my favorie song for a long time. the long intro was slammin'! NYA did it get any radio play? that should have been a big hit.

it didn't get much airplay at all actually, by the time they brought that single out, which should have been after "Who's Got Your Love" instead of (I'm the one) the transition with radio was already in gear. unfortuantely.

I thought "I'M THE ONE" was a good follow-up to "WHO'S GOT YOUR LOVE", As a matter of fact, I thought it was a stronger record than "Who'S GOT...". I especially love the keyboards - they kind of have that whole "PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ" type of feel to them..."TAKE ME AWAY" would have ben too hardcore for radio, lol.

I'll have to agree with Rhoq, I'm The One was a great follow-up! In fact, I do love all your records, but my fav Nyasia track has to be the I'm The One Florida version. It got a lot of radio play down here & bring back fond memories! its followed closely by the song mentioned on the title of this thread! Again Nya, I'm certainly not raggin' on any OTHER tracks U made. I think ALL your songs kick boot-ay!

I also think George Anthony's version of I Love You is better than Johnny O's version hands down! And U can tell him I said so!!! 😉
 
Rhoq,yes "I'm the one" was the follow up to "Who's Got your Love", but it was never a favorite one of mine, lol, maybe because I felt that it needed something more.

Putana, but it's my son's favorite too.

Yes ER the FS Child!, that was the first and only time George and I ever performed that song in it's entirety.
