Nayasita I see you as the beautiful person you are with a heart of gold. Since day one that I've been on this site you have always treated people with respect and I've always heard how great you were around people. We chatted online for awhile and I considered you a friend immediately. When I met you I was sooo nervous not because you were an "artist" but because of this whole internet deal.....meeting peeps on here. Girl when you pulled up and picked me up I instantly felt at ease Sheeh I even sang in the car ith you and lord knows I rarely do that at home...LOL ....you just have that way about you. Which is why people love you and why I nub ya. 🙂

I used to listen to your songs long before i knew who you were or even what your name was..once i started on cf i had to go back into my music collection to see "what does naya sing" then i was like ohhh that naya.. nyasia!!😛 keep being the beautiful person that you are.🙂

Performing is one of the things that you do, but it doesn't completely define you. Though you are considered an "artist", the term alone doesn't do you justice.

You indeed are "one of the people". You have bonded with many of us through your music, your personality and your feedback here on the internet. But again, to call you one of the people is limiting you of the true impact that you have had on many.

You are a great person. When little rinky dink radio stations asked for your time, you freely gave. When younger artists needed an experienced figure, you gave. When the websites needed a prominent, established personality to help lend credibility to the internet community, you gave. When measured by those who surround you...your family, your friends, your associates, your peers, even your "rivals", the results are predictable...you are, for as long as I've known you, a great person.

When I first met you, I expected maybe the character of "Nyasia-Recording Artist". What I got instead was a genuine person. Someone who treated me with a level of respect. Remember...the hotel room interview took place at the time of a particular personal issue that I was dealing with. We talked about that for a long while before I even hit "record" on the tape machine...

When you autographed the poster (with you straddling a motorcycle), you added a personal comment that moved me.

Artist, yeah, one of the people, yup, great person...BINGO!

nya since the first time i met you back in 2000 @ poorbilly's, you were always the friendliest artist. you don't let stardom go to your head. you are a people person. i find that most freestyle artists, probably because of you, are very down to earth.
