Now the reason I bring this up is because I want to know how you all see me.. do you see me as an Artist that should be handled from afar, or as one of you guys, to be able to hang with , have a good time and so on?

Safire is always telling me how I am very much loved by the fans because of the fact that I am always in there with them,

but then I hear through the grapevine how, I should not be in here relating on a daily basis with fans and friends, because everyone knows my life and how an artist should always keep there distance, not to come to my defense if anything is written on the board about me(which I handle myself thank you), because it ain't right, and this said by people that are idolized..LOL

Now if I had things to hide from the public maybe I would stay away, but I don't.

so please let me know, because hopfully other "Artist" will see this and be more open to being online more often.
 
Naya, your the QUEEN of CF!

I consider you a good friend (event though me, you and Diane havent hung out in the longest) and a great artist that just adds to the great atmosphere in here.
 
Well being from Canada where older freestyle is not heard I knew you first as "the person" and then as "the artist"...and I had the chance to meet you in person and during those few hours I just thought of you as a friend cuz we just talked about just anything...so that's my opinion but I am friends with some of the artists up here also and don't look at them like artists but as friends and a lot of times I even forget they are the person behind the voice of the music I listen to and that's the same with you 🙂
 
Nyasia- Honestly, I see you as one of "us". You're an artist, but you're also a person just like the rest.

I think artists' today forget that. You're a person with an extraordinary talent, that's all. And that's enough.

People who say that you should keep your personal life seperated because of what you do need to relax because I don't see them interacting with us. If anything, it benefits you the most because you are gaining a whole new level of respect by doing what you do.

I remember when I was 14 (back in 1991) and I was joining all these fan clubs, writing all of you and I never got a response back. But the internet has changed all of that.

By the way, don't consider me a "fan", consider me a friend. 🙂

Naya what I love most about you is that you never made anyone of us feel like we're inferior to you because your "Nyasia". When you were around us you were just one of the girls. And that is how you and so many other artistes should be. Reaching out to your fans and letting them know that yes you do acknowledge us and you appreciate our support. Naya you a beautiful person and I'm glad I got the chance to know you before you abandoned us and left to Florida j/k. I miss you and cant wait to see you so we can hang.

Naya you're respected as an artist 1st! And you're most definitely a part of us (fans, friends, etc). You're a down to earth person and that's what makes you so exceptional! You know how to be a person and not just a "celebrity". 😉
 
NAYA! We love you up in here! Being here in New Orleans, the freestyle scene isn't and never was really big. Before I joined CF I had no idea who you were. Meeting you here and getting to speak to you in the threads...I was totally blown away by how down to earth you are. I've since gotten your CD(well it's been awhile now) and I have to say in all honesty..its one of my favorites. NOT just because its you but because it's good!

Having the opportunity to meet and hang out with you was and will always be something I'll treasure. The first time at Blis I think I was star-struck but having had the chance to hang out at Coney Island, Backdraft's, Wild Palm, at Angie's and at Blossom's...you've gotten to become someone I would consider a friend.

When I first came on here I was like oh shit Nayasia the Artist? When I Met you I was even more taken back to have met one of my Favorite freestyle artist. To become your friend was even more of an honor. You never acted like you were better than any one. Your humbleness, your sincerity, your honesty blew me away. I wish That I could say that about all the freestyle artist out there. I'm glad that I can say shit even brag that I know Nayasia the artist and that she is my friend. I got peeps going 😱 for real and I be like yup!!!!!😛

when i first saw u and met u at wild palm right away i thought to myself u seem like one of the girls i chatted with b4 on cf but couldnt figure it out at the time until i ask chucky or ed about who u was? and as fine as u are i will never thought that in a million years that even if i had gone to many clubs and happen to saw u there that u was actually thee "NYASIA" whom i have talked with and who made me have a good time on the chatroom and who made me go wild once u did the prrrrrrrr cat sound to my ear lmao

so for me ma all i can say is on the other occasions where i got to meet u again and talk with some more to me it doesnt matter i wouldnt want u to change artist or no artist im acceptin u as u are yo te quiero mucho and i think ur a great person enuff said

now if anyone has something bad to say to u like with my cynthia :mad u best believe this platanito gonna back u up always no joda u should know that i dont play that shit

Naya what can I say, known you for many years and have gotten closer. I respect you as an artist but more as a person. You are who you are and thats what makes you original. Not many people do what you do, and that's what make it special. I was so happy to see Cynthia, Johnny, K7, and many others from the oldschool days here sharing and give us the fans an opportunity to be a lil closer. You are exceptional in many ways. The new era has much to learn and by sharing thoughts, ideas, knowledge, love and respect from the artists that have pave the way for us new artists makes it an ideal thought with good feelings. I know sometimes it gets ruff around with the bull and drama, but we all have fought it out and move on. I know speaking for myself and I bet Ashley, Artie, Willie Val., and many others have embrace the moments that we all have share.

I have always said "I'm a Fan first before an Artist". Keep doing what your doing baby hugzzz and miss ya!!
