It was a wonderful friday spring night and I went down to the Remy Lounge to check out Nu Image (who I will be working with) and Peter Fountaine (Who I had the pleasure of working with in the past).. It was a decent turnout but it would have been nice if more freestyle heads would have come out to show support. Bit it was cool with the crowd that was there showing support. It was a pleasure to meet a few of CF members. like the one and only "Chuck D". I think he should get an award for "Loyal Freestyle supporter Award".. From what I have read and I saw yesterday, he is truly a Freestyle junkie🙂 So a big hand to Chuck... I also read today on Chucks website that he will not download a Freestyle song that is available for sale because he wants to support the artist, labels, producers... WOW, if we had more people like Chuck, this business world be booming........ok, back to the Remy... The stage was small which I was like "HOW WOULD ANYBODY DARE TO PERFORM ON THAT STAGE".. It's good if you sing without dancing... Chree, was the opening act and did her classic "Got me loving you" on Metropolitan Records and other songs including a soon to be release on Total Kaos Records. She started up the crowd.. Then came the group I never seen on stage "NU IMAGE".. I said, OHHHHHHHHHH, how are 3 guys gonna fit on a little stage?? and they only had 2 wireless mics and all 3 members sing. They were very professional about it and still kick ASS.. They had the crowd going, I was all into it and even the legend, Sal A. was putting on a few dance moves in the background.. I was really impress and I'm not saying this because I will be working with Nu Image because if I didn't think they had it I would have walked away last night and not post this review, but because they really put on a GREAT show and it was all from the heart.. Tony, Tyree & Vic all take turns in singing which I have rarley seen in groups. I see a very bright future for Nu Image and a top single climbing up the Billboard Charts!!! NEXT, it was the one and only "PETER FOUNTAINE".. Peter, like always put on a SHOW!! He really gets pumped up and has so much energy to even move the dead..LMAO.. He performed his classics hits from High Power Records "The Way She Looks At Me" & "Just Like The Wind" and like always, had the crowd going. He also performed his last single that I produced for him titled "You Are An Angel" on Metropolitan Records, he kicked ass on that track and thanks for the props Peter!! He also performed some new material is will be releasing on Total Kaos Records... Big shout out to the Total Kaos crew, DJ PhillyLegend (it was good talking to you and I'm sure we will stay in touch).. WELL, I had a great time.. I said I would stay for a few hours but like always, closed with the place🙂 My wife and I would like to thank everyone who made us feel very welcomed.. It was nice meeting Kenny Guido and chatting with Sal A..
SEE YA AT THE COPA TOMORROW.. I will also post the pics from the REMY within the next few hours (still have a hang-over..hahaha)
