It was a wonderful friday spring night and I went down to the Remy Lounge to check out Nu Image (who I will be working with) and Peter Fountaine (Who I had the pleasure of working with in the past).. It was a decent turnout but it would have been nice if more freestyle heads would have come out to show support. Bit it was cool with the crowd that was there showing support. It was a pleasure to meet a few of CF members. like the one and only "Chuck D". I think he should get an award for "Loyal Freestyle supporter Award".. From what I have read and I saw yesterday, he is truly a Freestyle junkie🙂 So a big hand to Chuck... I also read today on Chucks website that he will not download a Freestyle song that is available for sale because he wants to support the artist, labels, producers... WOW, if we had more people like Chuck, this business world be booming........ok, back to the Remy... The stage was small which I was like "HOW WOULD ANYBODY DARE TO PERFORM ON THAT STAGE".. It's good if you sing without dancing... Chree, was the opening act and did her classic "Got me loving you" on Metropolitan Records and other songs including a soon to be release on Total Kaos Records. She started up the crowd.. Then came the group I never seen on stage "NU IMAGE".. I said, OHHHHHHHHHH, how are 3 guys gonna fit on a little stage?? and they only had 2 wireless mics and all 3 members sing. They were very professional about it and still kick ASS.. They had the crowd going, I was all into it and even the legend, Sal A. was putting on a few dance moves in the background.. I was really impress and I'm not saying this because I will be working with Nu Image because if I didn't think they had it I would have walked away last night and not post this review, but because they really put on a GREAT show and it was all from the heart.. Tony, Tyree & Vic all take turns in singing which I have rarley seen in groups. I see a very bright future for Nu Image and a top single climbing up the Billboard Charts!!! NEXT, it was the one and only "PETER FOUNTAINE".. Peter, like always put on a SHOW!! He really gets pumped up and has so much energy to even move the dead..LMAO.. He performed his classics hits from High Power Records "The Way She Looks At Me" & "Just Like The Wind" and like always, had the crowd going. He also performed his last single that I produced for him titled "You Are An Angel" on Metropolitan Records, he kicked ass on that track and thanks for the props Peter!! He also performed some new material is will be releasing on Total Kaos Records... Big shout out to the Total Kaos crew, DJ PhillyLegend (it was good talking to you and I'm sure we will stay in touch).. WELL, I had a great time.. I said I would stay for a few hours but like always, closed with the place🙂 My wife and I would like to thank everyone who made us feel very welcomed.. It was nice meeting Kenny Guido and chatting with Sal A..

SEE YA AT THE COPA TOMORROW.. I will also post the pics from the REMY within the next few hours (still have a hang-over..hahaha)

Awwwwwww geeee! I feel the love!

"Kidd", it was great meeting you and Leigh4Freestyle as well! Also got to meet Mona Lisa for the first time! Hiya girl!

Other cfers there were LaMasGrande, Chinita Sensation, Dayer, DJ Soul, Victor Vega and of course Chereè, Tony G.

Got to cut a rug downstairs with dayer and LMG, and later on, upstairs with Chereè and DJ Soul.

When club music comes on, I am a gay Italian man, with tons of rhythm, but as soon as salsa/merengue/bachatta comes on, I turn into a straight white male. No concept of beat. lmao

I have pics of the performances too, and will be posting them soon!

Hey Chuck!!!! *waving*
It was nice to FINALLY have met you! Same for LMG and DJSoul .....oooh and Kenny!!

The show was great!!!! NUI, you guys boost it up a notch for me everytime I see you perform. I was REALLY REALLY REALLY feelin the new stuff! Good Luck. OOOOH and Tony, you look fantastic!!!!!!

Peter Fontaine did an awesome job as well. Like Kidd posted, he is sooooooo full of energy. His songs bring back sooooo many memories and to see him perform them is even better. I am looking forward to his album! Total Kaos ..... although we only spoke for a few outside, it was nice to see some of ya again.

It was a loooooong day for me but the night set it off perfectly. I gotta give shouts to my people chillen w/me all night, BooBoo, LC, G, Alex and Phan ... yall are the best! Thanks for all the laughs!

Until next month @ Remy Lounge ........................ *smooches*

Sorry I wasn't able to go. I have no car, I had a little accident and was able to go. Glad all turn out great. So I guess by the way you said that needed more support from the fans you mean it was like the last time, Chuck, Dayer, & Mona,am I right?
Hey you have to do what you have to do. I want to meet MKG & Wife, And See Pete again, See NI I haven't seen you guys in awhile, and Cheree & Vic which I haven't seen almost a year now. But maybe next time.
Let me know who won the opportunity to perform at Copa. In Our show it was Phillip Anthony....I think the winner of friday night's show and Phillip Anthony should both be the opener for Copa, not just 1. But hey Good luck to all and Congrats to all the artists who took time and may the show a great one.

Latin Nation...It was an awesome performance and what made it nice was meeting CF people though I asked Chuck where were the other CF peeps and he said they left :sosadBut its okay hopefully i will get to meet some of you guys tonight and take pics. I am curious to know myself who's performing.

I look forward to meeting you as well LN. See you all tonight, I wish there was a meeting stop but that place is so damn big, hard to tell.:wave

Take care,
Leigh (Malisha)
