I tend to agree with everyone who posted here.

1- yes these threads do get way out of hand. no if and or buts about it.

2- yes Markluvscynthia, artist do take good critisism as well as bad critisism, but many atimes I have stated mine own critisism agaisn't someone on this sight and it hasn't been taken too nicely, but me being who I am don't lose sleep on it.
3- these threads do get tiring after a while, but I guess the new members want to know everyones take on it.Remixx being a new member was just asking a normal question.
4- Enigma, lol I have been having my eye on this thread since it started.lolol
5-Lastly, there have been many times when a simple critisism towards an artist has turned to blatant disrespect for them. and that's bullshit. I understand not liking a song for whatever reason, but alot of people tend to forget they are talking about the song and end up really rudely bashing the artist who sings it.

so if this thread is going to continue, please keep that in mind. It has nothing to do with "and artist has to take critism phuck that" no it has to do with the artist being a human being just like you.

and on that note, although the two artist singing it were label mates and good too, I would have to say "Dreamboy/Dreamgirl" Radio just has a way of beating a song to death! including my own!.

TRUE...BUT, we should be able to express our dislikes without acting like children. there's gotta be a way for us to communicate without getting jack or the mods to delete all threads "gone wrong" I think artists should just accept the fact that not every person is gonna like wut they come out with - but peeps who also post it should have a way of saying it without bashing it.😛
 
Lol, there are more posts about as to why a thread like this one shouldn't exist than there are actual answers to the topic of it. So far people have been expressing their opinions with their choices and none have been out of line or disrespectful. It's not wrong just to say you don't like something, even if it is freestyle. Doesn't mean you don't like freestyle either, or that your not a true fan. Just means there was some tracks that you didn't care for that's all.

As far as artists go, any artist that is truly proud of what they've done is not gonna care about some opinions on an internet board. Bottom line, if they're satisfied with it, that's all that should matter.

I've read many music boards and the opinions on this site that even attempt to be insults are not as bad as the heat non-freestyle artists have to take. I mean think about it: all the heat Jennifer Lopez takes (the doctored pictures, disrespectful jokes and opinions on what she does in her personal life-which has nothing to do with her as an entertainer. The jokes I've read about Aaliyah in reference to her "Come Back In One Piece" track, AFTER she died. That's true disrespect. In comparison, doesn't the stuff on this board seem lightweight?

LMAO, It's not the artist getting into crap in the threads, it's the members themselves..lol, I 've said it myself you can't please everybody, and I for one do not lose sleep over this, but in the past less "articulate" members have been very crude with thier posts., like you said the ones posting it should at least have the same respect that the "artists" give them.
