Hey Betty i remember doing shows with you girls with most of our groups "Amoretto" "Trilogy" and "La' Girls" at a whole bunch of clubs like Passions, 1018's, Paleds, Devil's Nest, Hearthrobs, Studio 54, etc etc. But i will aways remember "La Mirage". Chuck, that was an awesome interview with Betty Dee of Sweet Sensation

as a kid growing up in Chicagoland, listening to the radio a lot in 1987-1989, 'Sincerely Yours' was played in heavy rotation on chicago area stations.... like, I think Q 101 (they were pop/top 40 iirc, before going alternative, lol) and 100.3, Hot 102.3 (iirc) 94.7 Z-95 (remember Z-95 Chicago peeps??????!!!! oh yeah!) and of course, 96.3 B96

Sincerely Yours became a favorite song of mine.

I really think it's one of the best streaming freestyle stations I've ever heard. I'm glad that you have the newer version of Praying For An Angel
(or Praying 4 An Angel) by Marline Miranda! I love that version, and of course, the original by Rochelle.

I'm so glad that there are people here who don't listen exclusively to one style of music, as I don't. Of course, Ms. Betty Dee is a musical artist, but in general, with music, if it moves you, it's all good!

I could sing, we were introduced to Romeo J.D. who, at the time was part of a group called the Boogie Boys. They had a very successful rap song called "Fly Girl". Romeo, a very talented artist and writer wrote a song called "Hooked On You" and the demo song was recorded in his studio. Next Plateau heard the demo and we re-recorded the song with Ted Currier at the helm as the producer. Although I LOVED to sing I never wanted to be an artist it just sort of happened that way. Next thing you know Next Plateau is pressing the record and we did not have a group or a name so.......Our manager suggested we make a girl group and have Margie's sister Mari as the third girl. We needed to create a name so we came up with Sweet Temptation. A few days before the record was released we were told that we could not use the name Temptation
