I am so psyched to come across this site, and so much discussion about Noel; with all due respect to my wonderful husband, I LOVE THIS GUY!
Oh, and you mean my NOEL collection ISN"T complete! I have both his albums, and "The Question" from Concept of One (tho I'm still trying to find the maxisingle). He's also got a song with Girls Club called "How Could You Have The Heart"? - I checked napster, couldn't find it, so if anyone could direct me to where I might get a copy of this song, I'd really appreciate it. Anything else he's done I might notknow about?
Oh, BTW, my name's Kerri, and I'm on Long Island in NY. I grew up squarely in the '80's, and back then I was much more of a rock and roll girl. However, I had friends who were into top 40 and dance, so some of it rubbed off on me, since I had to listen to their music when I was in their cars! "Silent Morning" was the first dance single I ever brought, and I don't think I even admitted it to anyone! Talk about dumb, I was working at a Mall in '87 and Noel was doing a performance like right outside my store - I already liked him, but DIDN"T go, trying to impress a security guard (don't ask!)
I had heard that Noel was down in FL doing the club scene, heard from a guy down there who saw him and said he was pretty wesome, that he was working on "trance" music now. Then after the fact, got word from a girl who didn't see the show that he was just at the Latin Quarter. Finding info on this guy isn't easy - I know he's from NY, though not exactly sure what part, I knew he was Latin, just found out from an earlier post for sure that he's Puerto Rican. I also know he's got to be within a year or 2 of my own age, back or front, but no exacts. Anyone who's willing to help me out, I would like to know everything there is to know about him, including anyone who's ever caught his performances, back in the day and more recently.
