Honestly, I really don't care if Freestyle is popular or not...I just want GOOD stuff! I won't ever support BAD productions. It's not because you will buy all the new stuff that Freestyle music will do better. I think it's stupid to think that.

I just want GOOD stuff, so guys (producers, artist, remixers,...) from the Freestyle business, you know what to do. Stop saying that you will have great stuff in the works, just propose us great stuff.

Stop the ambient "blah blah", give us some real shit productions that will entertain the Freestyle buff that I am.
Because I can tell you something, i am certainly one of the Freestylers who are spending the biggest sum of money every single month. I'm paying shipping charges (to France) that you will ever pay.
So, it's really time to stop the bullshitt, I just need REAL and EXCELLENT new Freestyle productions. That's all I want!

The young generation thinks Freestyle is "techno." Once and friend of mine played "Dreamboy Dreamgirl" (that was b4 I was into Freestyle) and when I asked what type of music it was she replied, "Techno."

P.S. I'm not allowed to purchase CD's online. Considering I have no money and no credit cards... wahh.. it sux! (my father's money is out of the question.) :biggrin

But there is a reason for that. The fact we fans refuse to accept, is that the reason Freestyle isn't popular is because most people don't like it!

YUP, And the people who do like it call it Tecno or house and dont know what to request on the radio or look for at record stores. Freestyle is becoming a "old peoples Music" Because the teens aint involved (besides GRK Home girl) it aint crakkin! onct the teens start diggin it , it will blow up, once we start pushin it on the kids, the kids will start diggin it, its that simple. you have to go behind the sceanes and say why dont freestyle get the same kind of promotion as the other genres? BECAUSE the other genres work for theaire artists and beleave in the artist. Look at our own damn industry giving up on it self, no other genre has done that , they keep tryin and goin. Freestyle dont do that. with the exeption of a hand full , our industry consists of FKN QUitters.
 
i feel the main problem is promotion i mean whenever i go to a show the house is packed! no room to move so the fans are there the demand is there i hear and many fans hear music that you say "dam how could that not be out there on the air' and when as i saw at the last copa show where thousands where there all singing not only watching the show..freestyle is still very much alive! most of the modern "dance songs" getting play are nothing more then popular songs remixed with a beat..some are actually really cheesy but gettin play from unkown artist..but on the other hand newschool freestyle artist are rarely played on the air when freestyle does get play now its the "classics" i dont understand it
 
Yes the main problem With out A Doubt Is lack of promotion ,Theres just not enough noise commin from freestyle. the music is hot and loved by more then we know, its just too damn under ground and "taboo" on todays radio, if we can fix that it would surly florrish again.

It will come back when the artist and producers who are recording tracks today start putting more time, effort, talent, production, vocal ability, and promotion into the music they are recording. And when labels stop putting out the wack tracks that they have been releasing these past few years. When fans stop downloading tracks off the internet and buy the cd's in stores. When clubs start paying new school artist fare pay for performing and stop the B.S about doing it for exposure. When Radio stops jumping on the hip-hop band wagon and plays some good music.


When all this happens........freestyle will have a chance.

Thanx Sophia.

It all depends of the quantity. But for a certain quantity of CDs sometimes I pay 50 bucks thru UPS or 25 bucks thru the Postal services.
It's safer and quicker thru UPS. 😉
