I can't believe it!! I don't think that Poor Billy's gave it enough of a chance! It looked packed for Judy Torres! If live events pull more business in then you did the right thing, I guess they just didn't appreciate it!

I know of clubs around my way that might have worked out better for you than Poor Billy's but I'm 1 and a half hours away from New York. We should all pull together our money (the CF crew) and open up OUR OWN CLUB!

My Dad (RIP) had his own club with only one other investor and he used to got to Jerzey to scope the bands there before he booked them. Back then it was the Motown r&b sound that pulled people into the clubs. If we find another place (www.hotclubs.net lists alot), or places, I hope one is close enough for me to get to. Sorry Johnny about what happened! I was waiting for the weather to warm up to get to Poor Billy's and I was hoping to get there this week!
 
damn that sucks i loved it when i went up there wit rhoq n rummy-g it was great cause it was freestyle bein played at a club well johnny hope u find a new club to dj at cause it was good for freestyle artist n the fans.

the hard reality is this...THERE WILL NEVER BE A CLUB THAT WILL BE SUCCESSFUL PLAYING FREESTYLE most of the night....the club generation wants hard house and hip hop.......i myself only play 4-5 freestyle songs a night and that's even pretty hard to get in....I only wish the freestyle mix shows stay successful across the country...but the reality is....freestyle and clubs are no longer a reality

You brought us alot of good old memories and a few new ones too!! Just think of us as part of your record crates!!lolol
