Ok this mornign I wake up and see on teh news how to toy grenades were filled with gun powder and went off around 3 something in the mornign right around here where I work and I was liek dayum why this shit and of course I got scared. I wanted to know how many of you feel the same way its liek shit is alwys happeng in NY my sosn Father was liek no matter where in teh world shit happens they always come bak and f*** with NY to me NY is teh capital of the world and so much goes n here its like the heart of the US and honestly it scares teh shit out of me and is one of the main reasons why I want to get out of NY I dont want to have to live wodnering what the hell will happen next you know. I lvoe NY but I am tired of it and how its always being f***ed with.
 
I think NY is the best known city in the world, and after 9/11, it became even more famous.

Being phuked with is one thing Ny'ers will have to learn to deal with. Doesn't make it right, but what can you do?
 
NY is the FINANCIAL heart of the US which is why they all go after it and will continue to do so.

Just as Northern Cali is known as Silicone Valley...for the Computers.
 
Thats what I was saying this morning NY is the center of everything and with all we have here bt as a mom it isnt some place I want to continue living I want to raise my son some where else I know things can happen any where its been proven time and time again but I dont want to have to worry as much you know

most of us new yorkers ..(well i recently moved but not too far right across the river) are allways so proud..so tough..so rude its like a badge of honor..but reality it caught up to me..taxes.. dirty politicians..litter ..traffic...high cost of living..and in the suburbs of long island..where i was raised..something i used to not really see only in the news was now in my neighborhood..illegals.living twenty + to a house front lawns turned to parking lots..drugs and gangs... what the fuk do i want to stay there for??? "start spreading the news ... im leaving today..dont want to be a part of it..new york new york".. ill always be a new yorker in my heart..but to me its turning into a great big toilet full of shit no one wants to flush
 
New York is the capital of the world..... when I first heard yesterday's grenade story I was like jeesh now what... I was more annoyed than scared....
 
Thats another thing there raising prices in everything the subway is ridiculously high and the service sucks most of the time, rent is crazy now with the building of this Jets staidum no offense to the fans those cost will becoming out of our pockets i dotn think that is fair for what it has ebcome it isnt worth it to stay here anymore and long Island certain areas of it are disgusting I visit my old hometown when I go see my mom and I am liek shat what happend gangs all over its sick.
 
The grass is not always greener on the other side. Every where you go things are bad. Prices are going up. You don't hear about bad things happening in other places because it's not news here. When I was in Vegas there were two murders.

Just be glad you and your family have their health, job and roof over your head. If I still worked in NYC I would definetly still be living there. But I'm close enough.
 
I am very thankful for what I have but it is no walk in the park raising a child in NYC with the price of everything going up in price. Shit does happen all over but the cost of living isnt as ridiculous as it is here. My ass is going to FL regardless lol I am tired of the pace face of NYC 🙂
 
Yea I cant give my son more if I am struggling here in NYC because of the ridiculous cost its his future I working towards 🙂
 
I heard about the explosions yesterday...no one was heart that's what's important...now to figure out who and probably more importantly why
 
I was born & raised in Jersey then lived in Florida for past 20 yrs.. So I consider Fla my home.. now being in NY, I have to say, Thank God IM not in the City! I could NEVER claim NY as my home.. Love the sights but def not the kind of place to wanna live or even raise kids.. Kinda like Miami.. nice to visit and hang but NOT a place to live in or Raise kids.
