Fox Network will be bringing you a new tv show called "Skating with the Celebrities", pairing 6 celebrities with six Olympic figure skaters, to compete against each other.


the pairings are as follows:

Jillian Barberie (Good Day L.A) with John Zimmerman (Us national Champion)

Deborah Gibson (pop star) with Kurt Browning (World Figure Skating Champion)

Kristy Swanson (actress "dude, where's my car") with Lloyd Eisler (2 time Olympic bronze medalist)

Todd Bridges (Different Strokes) with Jenni Meno (World Silver medalist)

Bruce Jenner (Olympic gold medal-track) with Tai Babilonia (World Figure Skating Champion)

Dave Coulier (Full House-Surreal Life) with Nancy Kerrigan (Olympic bronze and silver medalist)

I'm going to say NO but once I see it I will probably be hooked lol. These stupid shows are addictive.
 
I used to be a huge figure skating fan..love Kurt Browning! It's sounds like a corny show but I will probably check it out anyway. I doubt it will have the class that Dancing With The Stars has. Chuck, do you know when the show starts?

According to the paper today, it's expected to air this fall, but they didn't give a specific date yet.

I still am a huge figure skating fan, and I love Nancy Kerrigan.

Thanks Chuck and I agree with you...I think Oksana is awful! Ised to go to a lot of the tours that they did..Stars on ice and all..they were a lot of fun.

I go to the Champions on Ice tour every year.

Most people don't know that Nancy was truely robbed of the gold medal in 1994.
 
The only ones I like are Scott Hamilton, Kurt Browning, and Katarina 🙂 oh wait and there was a little chineese girl who was off the hook, I forgot her name, but it was kwan or her sister, she used to do the Skate on Ice thing with Scott and Katarina.

I think you mean Kristi Yamaguchi. she skated that show all the time, and won the Olympic gold medal in 1992.
 
Nancy Kerrigan is too stuck up for me LOL!...My faves growing up were Katarina Witt, Rudy Galindo, Surya Bonaly, Viktor Petrenko, Scott Hamilton, Kurt Browning....Todd Eldredge and Michelle Kwan are okay, but when it comes to the olympics they always choke!

I'll probably end up tuning in and getting addicted! As for Kerrigan getting robbed of the gold, I could not agree more! I remember watching and screaming at the TV when that all went down. Kristy was one of my faves. Now Todd Bridges and Jenni Meno? OMG! She's gonna get killed....I feel sorry for her already! I used to love watching her and Todd Sand skate together.

Yeah, me too.

Casual fans think Oksana outskated Nancy. Hard core fans know what went down with the scores.
 
You had to be totally fuqin blind to think Oksana outskated Nancy! If I remember correctly, Oksana actually almost missed a landing or wobbled. So how even casual fans think she outskated Nancy blows my freakin mind! Not so much the scores, it also had to do with the judges rankings, and the judge that gave the "winning" (and I use that term so loosely) rank, turned out to have been in a similar situation when he was skating professionally. :rolleyes Biggest bunch of crapola.
