Whats up to everyone on this hot ass Ny day......
I been listening freestyle and going to shows since 89.......
I never liked freestyle up until the day I heard Forever Amor on the radio
and right there I became an instant fan........I got a lot of slack for being African American and loving freestyle and not listening to rap...I didnt let that stop me I have practically been to every freestyle show in the Tri-state Area ...I never stopped listening to freestyle even when hot 97 stopped playing it....Every piece of freestyle i could get my hands on i bought....Let me tell you hearing the songs on vinyl or cd didnt matter to me what mattered was hearing the artist perform live I have been disappointed by old and new skool artist alike..thinking wow theis person really cant sing live.....To me the only difference between old vs new is the year it was made .... Alot of old skool i hear now i am like damn i like that song....Alot of so claled legends you hear live and you be like who told this person they could sing......To me the new skool artists have to work 100 times harder then old skool....Most record labels back in the day were like ok you want to sing freestyle ok go the studio ...so the money was there for artists back then.....Most people toiday dont realize that most songs by new skool artists the cost of the project usually comes out their pocket.....Theres no money to be made singing freestyle anymore the artists of today do it purely out of the love of the music...So as long as the artisty continue doing what they are doing i will be here supporting the artists ....
I will be 80 years old still rocking freestyle

peace out everone
Keep rockin Freestyle cause its about the artists not the radio stations
cause it will always get airplay in my heart...

I feel ya on that!!!!! I still bang my freestyle from back in the day, as well as new stuff by Synthia Figueroa, Jennifer Glass, Latin Nation, Ayna and others.

JRBK@#, You have a point, I think that artists should put more into their performances by either having dancers or a routine. I've been to alot of show aswell and I think that they can sing live, at times it's the equiptment that sounds like sh$t! New Skool artists can still be booked for shows and make alittle money, but I agree with you that they do it for the love of the music and the response is priceless. ROCK ON!

i like em both equally i blast em both in my car and other places as well 😉

Thanks Chuck, I try my best and I will keep doing it as long as I can. Probably be an 90 year old try to split on stage..LMAO....But for real I've been doing this since 89 so it's been ruff, but I'm glad I can put some smiles on a few faces....Keep freestyle Pumping peeps! 🙂

I'm the same as Chuck and I'm not talking about being GAY! LOL I like both old and new but it's hard to find some new school music. But thru friends and associates I've met here @ CF. I have a better outlet to find stuff. I will always play Freestyle music.
