Aside from the Bad Boy Joe Megamixes (which I have), are there any new CD's out that are mixes or decent compilations for purchase?

I am not talking ebay or swaps either.. 😛

You might wanna check out Vic Latino's '80's Now' mix. It's gotta pretty hot mix of Corey Hart's 'Sunglasses At Night'.

The Ministry of Sound label has some electro comps that are pretty good also.
 
i know freestyle heaven 5 is coming out up here in like a week or two and from wut i hear its really good which u can order off HMV
 
I am in the process of answering your prayers for a compilation and it is not a BBJ style of mixing. I am putting together one that has the good clean mixing without the fancy edits. Remember when a DJ worked at what he did and didn't use computers?
You got some suggestions for songs?I am still choosing songs.

Hehehhee how did I know you would make your way to my thread?

No burgers and pickles this time 😉 I do miss the old skool mixing where the songs aren't cut to crap with the horrific edits and extended songs that didn't get mixed right from the get..

I definitely have suggestions and would love to get on that waiting list for your mixes (or even collaborate and give ya my choices of preferred tracks and not the same old songs that are mixed to death).

Lol, nah it's not the original "Sunglasses At Night", it's a freestyle remix. It's the "DJ 8-On Breaks Mix" that's on "Vic Latino's 80's Now Mix". It's a dope cd of house, breaks, & freestyle re-workings of big 80's dance hits.

for those interested in mixed freestyle cds...go to http://www.energeticsounds.com
check out tim "spinnin" schommer..."bringing the freestyle" released just last year....it has almost 50 tracks....awesome cd!
and check out, to kool chris' cds..."heartthrob freestyle classics vol.1" ,originally released in '99 . this is old school at it's best and has 29 tracks. his other cd is "freestyle forever vol. 1", released originally in '98. this one is new school and has 44 tracks.

Hey Rock!

Thak you for the link above.. The cd lists look pretty cool, but there are no track listings for any of them, just the number of songs on each 🙁
