When your listening to a new freestyle song, what do you look for the most? Do you look for vocals, music or just because the artist looks good.

I honestly look for style because every artist has his or her own style.

I listen to the vocals, the meaning of the song, and the beats.....

I look for exactly what cubanbea said then I see if she looks HOOOOOTTTTTT (if its a she).

But regardless to whether the artist is hot or not, Freestyle is BANGIN'.........

We all have to get together and bring it back strong. Freestyle is not what it used to be back in the days. Now people don't want to play it anymore. Here in San Antonio the only ones that play it are Djs.

I totally agree. The only real outlet we had here in San Antonio was 106.7 Jamz and they changed the format to a real crappy one. The only new freestyle I hear, is when I get information from my fellow CFers and artists here on board, then I go and look for it.

106.7 jamz

106.7 jamz was the bomb. They started playing my song (Come Back To Me) for a while but now they don't even play freestyle. I've tried to call all the radio stations to play freestyle but they don't want to. I also find all info on this site too. Where do we go from here?

It's hard. San Antonio has lots of freestyle fans but everyone seems to be stuck in the same ole recycled songs and artists and mixes you buy at the flea markets. I remember a time when freestyle artist use to come on an almost weekly basis. Remember, 102.7 use the bring them down like crazy. Let's not forget Semonia (might be mispelled). The good old days.

The Semana Alegre

Damm, do you remember when they brought Cynthia-TKA-George Lamond-Stevie B- Then you had Club Spice, Yo Yo's, Stage, Image, they used to bring a lot of artist. The recent one i attended was the one on The freeman when the brought lil suzy, tka , johnny o, dj laz, ashley, stevie b and the list goes on.

i had drama with Stevie B backstage.

the production - because freestyle isn't freestyle without its distinctive production. should be overall catchy, otherwise it isnt easily appealing to the masses

I like to feel the beat and then the way that the artists sing the hook. I am always into the subject and if I can relate or not. Overall, I want to move to it.

I always want a good beat, something new and progressive. Something that sais "Hey Look ...Freestyle has changed and is still being made with a new fresh sound" . Like Alot of the stuff youve done in the past Angelino. It sounds very Up to Date and thats what I look for in A CD when I make a purchase. The old sound bothers me and tells me we will never grow as a music. Then I look out for the Lyrics and vocals. Ok Vocals or cool but horrible ones just waste a track. The Lyrics Should be of the same Content but with differnt words.

I always Liked your Stuff Angelino! Oh And By The Way.....Who Be producing those Fat Ass Mobb Beats, you guys got? I give Him Props. Keep it comming Bro!

106 jAMZ WAS THE s#!T it was cool and they were very nice to us, meaning me, Ayna, and Ashley as we were the only New school artists that was ask to be there. It was a huge oportunity and it was fun too. Pepsi si was awsome the fans was off the hook.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It was an honor for me to Be part of 106.7 Pepsi Summer jamz . Thats is the biggest arena show I ve done to date .
