Actually what are you thinking kid, if you go back to the 90s, when you were probably still in your diapers and rocking your onesies, and if you had someone do your research, you would've known that Pure Pleazure is really not New School and they were one of the top freestyle groups, or pair, whatever that kept freestyle going throughout most of the 90s. Now I wont go back and forth here bullshitting on this thread with some kid so I'm done with this quote, but I give props to all the new artists whether they're good or lacking talent to go out and try and keep the music going, keep it up!!!!! to me its just simply called "passion for the music that you love".

As you are titled to your own views, it's shows what you know as "What can I do" was just a filler track and probably if I remember right is the last song on the album. Personally I think that song sucked. BTW, thanks for purchasing the cd. I'm glad YOU think I can work a lot harder, as you know nothing about me or my work ethics. So I give myself credit, and I don't care who does or doesn't. I did it... have you done anything? However, again you are entitled to your opionion. Thanks.

Why put out material that sucks and then you talk about others?????

By the way, thanks to all for your kind words.........

New School and Old School?????? that is a joke right??????.......all other genres have been around longer than freestyle has.........stop causing reasons to divide freestyle.......If you create something and want to get praise for it, no need to bash others to get it people.........As a matter of fact, Mr. Miami......let's put a track together, I wanna see what you got.....working together is the only way to accomplish something...send me a private message if you are interested....

you say stuff about tracks on here sucking.. well what about your compilations that are running at 99cents now... that doesnt compare to the mic mac , artistik comps, or high power or the MIXMASTER productions compilations that are still to this day being requested for by fans... all im saying is dont bash on the freestyle artists that are on here and not able to back it up... becuase i know some of them and they are good people who have the courage and guts to bring this music out...

whatsay... Whoever you are hidding behind your screen name... People some times do that (just what I did). Major artist have filler songs, as I'm sure all those "great" producers or artist you praise have done also. It's not my fault you liked the worst track on the album. It just goes to show that everyone likes something else. I can name ALOT of songs that SUCKED on all the labels you wrote above. But don't get me wrong I did like ALOT of them too (as I charted, mix'em and played them when RAP ruled the airwaves back in the 90's). And I didn't bash ONE artist or producer in particular, professionally or personally. The people who have half a ****in brain know what I'm talking about.

If it is the "future" like you stated, then I don't want to go there.

Well I agree with some of the things you said, some artists need help, some fairly badly. But tell me this? What are MOST of the old school artists doing now? They're not even doing freestyle anymore! They either don't have the love to put out any freestyle (or never loved it in the first place) or are trying to "make it" with other music and failing big time! :lol Let's call some of them out to make new freestyle music. Their other music is going nowhere anyways (in most cases), so why not create something that still caters to the many freestyle fans out there who know who they are anyways?
I give them props for at least putting out new music. If it's really bad, they should hold off until they can put out something good. But some are decent and they are trying, which is more than we can say for most "old school" artists. So again I agree, but post some constructive criticism if you're making these statements. I'm working on that now.

Look, u can hate me all you want with what I say. I could care less. But truthfully, not alot of new stuff is worth listening to. Straight forward. Doens't mean I 'hate' or think the artist 'sucks'. It just means I feel cheated everytime an album or comp is released or another greatest hits is released with the same ol' song on it but remixed after it's been ''over cooked''. Now, there are good music out there but not every artist in the world has a great album with every single track being the greatest! I like Neil Diamond but some songs of his aren't my faves, man. Doesn't mean I'm hating on the ol' skool dude. I've been to a few shows and seen alot of peoples faces that disapprove of an artists performance and track. ex: @ Backdrafts, etc. I do like some nu skool tracks of today. I have brought both MicMac beats comps and can't wait for two other comps that I'm waiting for like forever. So, in part I understand what others say and those that are afraid to post because of others jumping down someone's throat for disagreeing. Again, I'm not agreeing or disaproving one's post or an artist. Just simply putting my dime and nickel. Again, if u can accept criticism for making things better in an industry, you'll strive if you don't quit. Laters, I'm gonna feed my shnuckums. Peaceowttie

for one im not hiding behind the screen name i have .. if you want to get to know me on a personal level then do so... and another thing dont mock my name.. you dont know me and you dont want to know me... i dont care who you are or what it is you have done in the past with music.. that doesnt justify a damn thing... when was the last time you released something on your level? if it was recent, then why i havent we heard it.. also it doesnt matter if you mention names or not.. if you are aiming for the new artist then you are aiming for my freinds who are new artist .. they are bringing out songs left and right that are getting mad props... what do u mean i like the worst track on the album? if you are referring to the comps you released then it was none.... and i seriously hope you are not aiming at me when you made that quote about people having half the ****in brains... and its HEAR SAY not whatsay.. pick up a book or a dictionary and youll find out what it means...

I really didnt want to post on this thread......but Hear Say has a Point...Dont Speak On the entire New School. Pin Point The Artist thats causing you to post such a negitive thread. If your Not specific on who and whats bothering you...then your making the entire New School look stupid..And all that doses is cause a huge gash in the progress on this music and keeping it alive. No ones gonna wanna mess with freestyle ever again...and this music will be dead all the way.

You see a couple of people wanna see freestyle keep going and hear new productions..The New School is for them. We Understand that Old School Listners are Not Intrested in whats current. Untill some One can step up and make a hit....we will keep trying to fall upon new eyes and ears and expose freestyle to new generations to come. Its Gonna Take good and bad releases to launch in order for people to relize this music is alive and then maybee some one with the skills you crave will finnally release a cd. But with out new school putting it out there...........Freestyles Dead.

Everyone has different taste in music as stated. If new freestyle sux for you or anyone else then don't listen to it. I love freestyle and if the New School Artists are the only one's doing something for it hey then let it suck. I'll keep listening.

Now I'm going to a thread where FREESTYLE OLD OR NEW is loved 🙂

I'm locking this thread, because the drama is getting too high here.

If you want drama, turn on the news and look at the people trying to deal with life in the wake of Katrina. That's real drama.

One final message to the new schoolers.

Don't let the comments get to you. When I first started in the customer service field, 18 years ago, my mother said something to me that I still remember to this day. "There will be certain people who you will NEVER be able to satisfy. After a certain point, you stop trying."

One final message to the people who want to criticize new schoolers.

Let's see you do better. What credentials do you have to make these statements? Put your money and your talent where your mouth is.

It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of everyone, alone, and put yourself out there. It takes NO courage to "boo" anonymously from the crowd.
