😕 why dont you buy cds?

One reason I don't is I prefer to be more selective with what songs I purchase. I'd rather buy one record with one good song, than a cd compilation with 95% of the songs on it being crap (as is the case with most cd compilations). Also, some of us have an attachment to vinyl as it's somwhat "in our blood" from buying that format for 20 years as I have.

Don't wanna get into a vinyl vs. CD's debate here... but I personally never liked CD's, don't think they sound as good as vinyl. I been DJing for 20 years with records & I still buy whenever possible. I also prefer multiple mixes which are (in most cases) found on vinyl, not CD's.

No prob Seitz. When we get to hang, I'll give you some recommendations that you can hear. Some of the new stuff on vinyl isn't necessarliy worth buying....

I concur...I've been spinning for 5 years and I definitely have an attachment to vinyl. I agree with the sound. Vinyl has a warmer sound than CDs do, a fuzzy sound that I enjoy.

as a dj (retired but still doin guest spots)... i loved vinly to death, but was pushed into cd format years ago....but i adapted my sound systems to give cd that warm vinyl sound... cd's are much moore clear and hit harder than vinyle..with the right sound processing. Ddont let the lack of availablity on vinyl shun u away from cd..adapt..it is worth it in many ways..especially if u r a dj doing mobile and club
