Congratulations To My Good And Dear Friend DAVE "THE ONE" MENDEZ on a project i cant even wait to explode onto the market. I am very proud of you Dave and ofcourse of my best friend in the universe FREDDY "THE EDIT" RIVERA.

Im digging how both my productions are back to back on the second CD...Mickey is awesome and Thanks For The Opportunity to be on this ROSTER.

I am very proud indeed to be working with The Best In The Business...That means you especially DAVID...Wowwwww...!!!! can that guy Egit his ass offfff...."YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN...

Freddy "The Edit" Rivera ofcourse needs no introduction but the power alley of Edits have gone deeper than ever with his latest styles in Editing.

Now that's a tough act to follow folks.

Wishing i can get my project out soon too so we can share our Edits with the MASSES.

Joey; thanks a million. I don't know anyone else right now killing it on both ends (Production and Editing) you are unique as well as incredible in every aspect of this game. Thank you for the influence as well as your extraordinary skill and belief in the incredible art of editing. You've put together some of the most amazing edit masterpieces that I will always treasure.
This will be the year that I look out on the cd credits before plunkin that hard earned money down and lookin for the Produced by or Edited by Joey Danger Altura.
That pattern from back in the day has once again surfaced; Mickey; Joey Danger Altura, Willie V; Tony G (co-writer, producer, vocalist) are bringing on fierce production in 2004.
Clubfreestylers; you are an amazing and special bunch who in the darkest of times for this genre came here and shed light and kept things going. If not for Jack G and the Club Freestylers I wouldn't have known or pursued the idea of editing and entering production this year.
Hang on a second; DJ Paradise, The Freestyle File; Jack G, ClubFreestyle and the Clubfreestylers deserve honorable mention and honors for playing a very important role in the resurgence of Freestyle as well as projects like this that have made it to the final stages.
DJ Paradise (the hardest working man I know as well as amazing editor) thank you a million times for all that you've done for me and what you continue to do weekly, daily, monthly and yearly for the freestyle fans. It Must Be You is monumental.

Joey Danger Altura Once again; Thanks for being in my corner and for your guidance. Thick and Thin baby; you prove it time and time again! Awesome Production baby; Poze is FIRE!!!!! The edits are electrifying!

Without an absolute doubt David "The One" Mendez, you are my reassurance to the world that editors of your caliber are tough to come by and that you are the next featured up and coming star of Editing and that's an "UNDERSTATEMENT BIG TIME".

Only so many editors have ever evolved to that level you so much strive, desire and will accomplish.

To have set ground on that stage for me and be compared to such mention names like the Latin Rascals, Carlos Berrios and especially Omar Santana is all too much to bare in one sentence for me. It's like im not worthy but i remain with humbleness all the entire time and say Thank You every single time an honor of that mention ever surfaces. It's a wonderful feeling to be established in any level of any profession. I Love My Job.

I will carry the torch as high and proud as i can so as to never shame it in anyway whatsoever. Thank You David "The One" Mendez for your unbelievably kind words.

You my friend are in for a big Dance so you better get those Razors sharpened because you are the next big thing my friend. I wasn't kidding when i told you what i heard from you was magical, Editing is one thing but SPECIAL EFFECTS EDITING IS NOT a teachable task, it just isnt. You know that when i got started i couldn't even get my demos in any DJ's hand just because they thought i was a nobody? I used to get so mad and sometimes even cry because i wanted it so bad especially for my welfare and career to prove to the world that i can be a professional Editor is one thing but to continuously do it on a daily was where my head was at and today they ask me when my next product is coming out like non of that ever happened. You know what i tell them? Soon. Never mentioning a word as to how i felt because you know what? It didn't matter, i persued it and persued till i got what i wanted out of life and they all remember and tell me with a pat on my back, "IT JUST WASN'T YOU'RE TIME KID".

True story man, my word is my bond. Point is not to rush it no matter how great you think you are till the world tells you that you are great. Always believe it but never say out loud, reserve your energy and be humble even when you know you are great and want to say it out loud.

Your simple thank you is more than enough for me and your fans David "The One" Mendez, i am a fan and i know your struggles in your beginnings and i respect a humble person that always remembers that and not flaunts it ever. Your work speaks volumes of its own and in that realm you can say what you want.

I need to know when this c.d. comes out so I can add it to my 'future flava's' list. As soon as I receive these songs I can begin to play them - trying to keep freestyle alive here in Phoenix. The guy that runs the club likes it, (he's a friend of mine) but the people that come want hip hop and he will give to the people what they will dance to. I'm the only one left there to play any freestyle/dance music at all - the other d.j.'s left only leaving the hip hop d.j.'s to continue playing, which is forcing me to really change my format.

Well:The release date is still up in the air; this month was the last word I got.

Real quick on the Then and Now; it's not a competition; it's a compilation. I won't call new freestyle songs New School; It's NOW school. They don't call new Pop songs new school pop; theyr'e still pop songs and R&B songs. They prettied up R&B and Hip Hop; it's URBAN pop; right! LOL.
It's all good; I like the term Latin Urban Pop or Urban Latin Pop. Its all good; disc 1 alone is worth the price of entry and so is disc 2.
Wooooieeee; U get a taste of Nu Image and Tru Voices as well As Stephanie Pinedo before their albums are released. I'm looking forward to these and many more releases coming from all labels!!
I heard some russian Hip Hop. NO LIE; I kid u not; I got a demo of it in the mail; wow that woke me up.

Let's get this going man!!!!

I dont knwo the release date But omg this will be a must have along with the 12"s of mic mac I cant say enough on how much this will be a slammin cd.....This is going to be a good start to the new year with all thses releases
 
'Sup Freestyler's? I Just wanted to give props to everyone who worked on the Mic Mac Master Mix. It's hot, definitely smokin'! You guys, without a doubt, will give Freestyle new life in '04. I can't wait until the album officially drops. Everyone involved in this project is truly talented and each person add's their own touch- from the producer's to the artist's.

Dave- Thanks a lot, bro. I wish you and your crew much success in 2004. You've opened my ears to something totally new and fresh, man. If any year is for Freestyle, it's gotta be this year! Let's take it to the top.
