88.5 is back! They're only playing dance from 7 pm but it's better than nothing! Now we don't have to put up with the crap z103 tries to pass off as music (ie. bon jovi and aerosmith and other assorted cheese...)
 
it's every day from 7pm to 5am. so far it's amazing - the newest in house, euro, freestyle, and club.
 
Woah, wait, is this gonna be the old Power 88 again?! That station was the best damn thing out there back in the day. Used to goto Goddess back when I was a kid, it was run by Power 88 and it was a kick ass club. I hope this comes back in full force, Power 88 ruled. 😀
 
Power 88.5 use to be amazing in it's days... I remember whenever i use to spend half an hour on tryin' to get the right reception, and then they always use to have the classic Dance of the good old days of '94, I use to love that station, To bad it didn't stay on for long... but now that's it's back, it's Kicking, but i still got that reception problem, lol....
 
Yeah, I new a couple of the bouncers back then, just by face since I used to go fairly often. Place was wicked, and Bunnies was jokes, never went there, but everytime we passed by you could see some cops there... LOL The Bunnies bus cracked me up... 😀
 
Wow.. i tuned into 88.5 the last two nights.. and WOW.. they play some amazing music.. and best of all.. no comercials!! But i cant really get it clearly on my stereo.. in the car it works fine.. but not in the house.. ah well...
88.5 also plays some pretty good music during the day.. i hear freestyle quite often... ah well.. i hope 88.5 becomes PURE dance.. i have longed dreamed for a station like that

Me and the boyz were bored one night and we went up to bunnies, the bus is still there but goddess is hurting! Cops are still there but it means nothing, fights still break out in the parking lot and they watch!
 
wow!!!! i tuned in last night and wow!! they played amazing music..... trance, house, euro (old & new) and freestyle!!!!!!!!!! it's not like the old power 88.5 but it's still very good and while i was tunning in they played no commercials!! it's about time there's a station like that! Z103.5 is amazing station too but 88.5 is a very good alternative. Especially for me because i work nights, so 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. is awesome!!!!

I hear 88.5 and it's pretty good nice house music, but I haven't heard any freestyle yet??? I hear Lil suzy When I fall in love and YBZ house mix of now that I found you. but I will be waiting till I hear freestyle... glad to have a dance radio station.. Energy 108 fm sucks they play rock and alternative and too much hip hop..,..
 
OK kiddies just to clarify something, Foxy 88.5 fm is OWNED by the same guy who runs Z103.5 . Evinoff Radio productions or whatever how you spell the guys name, listen to the ads it mentions his name!!!

Yeah I remember Godess, or wayyy back in the day when it was called Ricky Ricardo's, jumpin every Saturday nite!!!! Sadly the place was bombed right before Newyears of 95 and the place hasn't been the same since!!!!
 
it was owned by the evanoff group when it was power 88.5 (wasn't it?) they just changed formats. Ricky ricardos was bombed? i thought it just died and they remamed it goddess. You learn something new everyday.
 
Yeah, I remember that bombing, wow I totally forgot it was Ricky Ricardo's. I thought it was a great club when it was Goddess, never checked it out when it was known as RR's, the music was just wicked, plus saw a few good acts there like Jacynthe and First Base.
