I'd just like to let everyone know that Bad Boy Joe & D.J. Louie DeVito (of NYC Underground Party cd fame) have just released a very hot new c.d. entitled "Louie DeVito's Dance Factory"....mixed by Joe 'Bad Boy' Marcano & Louie DeVito. And wait until you hear Bad Boy Joe's slammin' megamix (track 21) at the end. Although there are similar compilations out there...REMEMBER....The Difference Is In The Mix!!

Thank you...AND KEEP ON DANCIN!!

It's amazing what computers can do now-a-days!!!

Amazing is right Rhoq,

It's amazing how they produce such awesome CD's
with the tools that are available today.

You would think that more people would perfect
their trade as Bad Boe Joe does. Came on the scene
and sold an incredible ammount of
'the Best Of Freestyle Megamix' & made allot of
us freestyle fans happy!

We will be broadcasting the Bad Boe Joe commercial
spot here this week. Check it out!

Where are

we able to purchase it???

Is it on Bad Boy's site for sale??

Anyone know off hand??😛

Jack...I was being sarcastic...

It takes absolutely no skill to allow a computer to do the mixing for you. Sure it may sound nice and Bad Boy Joe's BEST OF FREESTYLE MEGA-MIXES may have even sold well, but it is a slap in the face to real DJ's who work their asses off while doing their thing with 2 turntables and a mixer.

Rhoq - Wazzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I used to use a typewriter.
Now I use a PC.

I used to drive a bike now
I drive a car.

U DA MAN
I give Major Props to all Club DJ's
LIVE MixMasters - It's not easy.
Takes many years of practice. And
cannot be duplicated by any machine -
only enhanced.

Louie DeVito & Bad Boy Joe's Dance Factory

I've heard Bad Boy Joe mix "LIVE" ....and he's up there with the best of them. He has an amazing ear and knows instinctively when to blend or drop each track to keep the dancefloor ablaze with energy. What he does with his c.d.'s is only a further enhancement of his amazing command of the turntables. There are limitations when mixing live. For instance...sometimes it would be better if intros or outros were shorter...or choruses were placed elswhere in the mix...and that's where his editing skills come in. And remember...even if you blend records ON BEAT (with no galloping)...that does not guarantee that they are ON MEASURE, and that is crucial to a mix. Plus many D.J.'s seem to ride records forever trying to keep them on time, which gets a bit monotonous.

Look...Joe isn't trying to please everyone...that would be impossible...but not everyone is a turntable purist. But by digitizing and remastering & EQ-ing each track with the aid of his G4 IMAC and his incredible ear....his sound quality is surpassed by no one....CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF.
