For those in the know, the LP is finished! For those that don't now what I'm talking about, well, a while back I posted an offer on the Freestyle sites in effect giving a shot to new comers an opportunity to record a demo at my studio. Well, although many responded only a few committed. But the project turned into something else altogether when the Kings and Queens of this music offered their services. Now that project is finished and a few new artists have tracks side by side with several dance music legends. So the line up goes a little something like this: "Don't Ever Say" by Lisette Melendez, "What Is Love" by George Lamond, "The Jump Off" by K7, "Rescue Me" by Julie Carrozzi, "Let It Go" by Miles Petty, "I Need a Lover" by Lisette Melendez, a TKA reunion, and more. All brand new never before heard tracks that I produced as carefully as any other record I've worked on in my career. As of now the CD will also feature an international edit battle where the editors were assigned certain tracks to tear apart any way they saw fit. I'll be cutting a track myself to lead off the battle. The artwork is now being worked on and will be called Carlos "After Dark" Berrios Vol. 1, although that could change. I'm writing all this down because I'm curious as to the response to this unprecedented project. This project, the first of two, will be offered exclusively on the internet. More details to come. Drop me a line and give me your thoughts.
