You try to read between the lines of my poems,
Thinking that you know me so well,
"Lets see what this "little girl" will write about next"
A true poet NEVER tells.
You judge me by my work,
Thats all good because nothing is better than creativity,
But when I write a poem telling you exactly how it is,
You only see the "hate" in me.
You'll never know what im really feeling,
You'll never know what goes on in my head,
You go by my writing,
By only the things I have said.
You try to read deep into my poems,
Thinking that you know me so well,
I can write about love..about sex...about hate,
But a TRUE lady NEVER tells.
I could be writing about you,
I MIGHT be writing about me,
I could be writing about anyone in general,
You will never know and thats the way it SHOULD be.
