is it a guy thing to argue to ur girl when ur friends r around, especially when he makes him look good but the girl feels like shit?

well vixen.. i never had a guy disrespect me in front of my friends, though i have friends whose boyfriends do that shit...
i guess they want to show your friends that he's got some control over you.
because trying to put u down or shame u in front of people shows zero respect.... it's not tolerable in my books. 😡
 
c i can't deal with that either but we've been together for sooo long (5yrs...almost) and all of a sudden he's a acting like that.

he's not a bad guy, i love him but...the attitude better go!

like, how do u talk to someone like that?
 
A man who disrespects his woman, whether it be in private or public is NOT A MAN to begin with.

If he cannot speak to you rationally and respectfully, he doesn't deserve you. I know we all fly off the handle sometimes. It's human nature, but from the sounds of it, he's does it consistantly.

you dont need any of that..i would never disrespesct a girl in front of any one even if she was trifile....if you ever get treated like that by anyone one then you know its time to move on.no excuse for that..and in seeing your pic..why would you even have to deal with that ..im sure that there are plenty of "gentlemen" out there would love to treat you right..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bullshit

listen Vixen.. everyone knows that if u put more wood ina fire it'll burn brighter... by yelling back at him will only make him want to fight with u more.
what u should do is.... LEAVE! I don't mean leave permanently, but leave the scene... go home, go somewhere else... he'll then realize that he's doing something wrong and will chase u, rather than u being all guilty about something he's got a problem with.

Any by the way... have u spoken to him at all about this? I mean, if u did and he doesn't get it... whoa, u've got a problem sweety.
 
c, i'm not the type to break up with someone and find someone else right away...or soon. i dunno...i'm so attatched to him, i mean 5 YEARS!!! that's a looooong time...
 
Of course you don't want to lose him. You LOVE him. Sometimes love can be so misguiding and trick you into believing that everything will be ok.

All I can wish you for you, is the best and hope that things get better. Other than that, it's all up to you.

You need to come to a realization and see everything for what its worth.

i don't want a promis cuz i know he won't keep it...sometime i don't either...we'll just c what happen tomorrow (he has to drive me to work, since my car is in the hospital)

VIXEN DON'T WAIT UNTIL U GO TO WORK TO TALK THINGS OUT...IF U GUYS LIVE TOGETHER TAKE A MINUTE AND SIT AND TALK TO EACH OTHER AND HEAR EACH OTHER OUT...THE WORST THING U CAN DO IS WAIT UNTIL MORNING AND HAVE IT END UP INTO A NASTY FIGHT WHERE IT COULD RUIN YOUR WHOLE DAY.

YOU HAVE TO TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT U AND THAT INCLUDES YOUR MAN...BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO ESTABLISH HOW TO COMMUNICATE BETTER WITH EACH OTHER AND MAKE IT A HABIT TO DISCUSS THINGS WHEN U ARE BOTH CALM.

5 YRS IS LONG (AN INVESTMENT) AND I WOULD NOT BE SO QUICK TO THROW IT ALL AWAY SO SOON. HOPE IT WORKS OUT.

Uhm... All your other questions are pretty good, but this one question here.. this one is not good at all... See.. it is saying two things, 1) it has nothing to do with the kind of guy you are getting involved with, and 2) it goes to prove the immaturity level of the person asking the question.. sorry.. just callin it how I see it

i think the reason why he does this is because he probably gets heat from his boys that he is in a seriouse relationship,at a young age.his boys probably dont know what it is like to be in a seriouse relationship yet,and they dont realize whats comming.i understand where your boyfriend is comming from.i seen it alot with my friends.we used to try to get them to go out,and they would say nah,gotta do this with my girl,and we would bust their chops,and called them whipped,and whatever.when i got into a seriouse relationship,i realized that things change a little!!! my advice is to address the situation,and dump him.make sure he knows why you are doing this,and i assure you he will crawl back to you,with an attitude adjustment!!!! consider this as medicine for the soul!!!

Yelling at your partner in front of your friends is not cool. It only shows that you are not strong and are a coward. Not only that, it shows you don't respect your partner enough and it actually makes you look stupid. In other words, it makes you look like the weak punk who doesn't have any control even though he wants to project to the third parties that he does. If anything, it would be best to talk to your partner in private, not in public, and straighten out whatever needs to be straightened out. And that would be done by a partner who respects his lover. 😉.

So to him it may be "Macho, macho man", but he's only a wanna-be like the song says lol. Macho men don't disrespect their lovers by embarrassing them in front of other people. So he has the wrong idea of what being macho is.

Damn that was deep LOL.
