Need advice... PS2 / X-Box / GameCube

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new game system as a joint X-mas gift for the whole family... what do you guys suggest? I'm leaning towards PS2. Any thoughts?

I HAVE ALL BUT THE XBOX SUCKZ...GO WITH THE PS2 THE BEST ONE OUT..GAMECUBE IS GOOD BUT DOESNT HAVE ALOT OF GREAT GAMES OUT BESIDES THE RESIDENT EVIL SERIES...BUT GO WITH THE PS2 HAS ALOT OF GREAT GAMES OUT.!

yea, but the thing is some of the game come out for both system ps2 n xbox..dont get me wrong the graphics are wow but the controlers are stupid lol...

I agree w/ EZE, had an Xbox for like 2 weeks and sent it right back, didn't like it! go w/ the PS2 fo sho! 😀

I've never had Gamecube or XBox. I havent heard anything about Gamecube, but everyone agrues which is better--PS2 or X Box. I heard u can get online or something with XBox. But I have PS2 and I know u can play DVDs and PS1 games on it. I like PS2 cause its got the Grand Theft Auto games. Those games are the shit!I think PS2.

i have both PS2 and XBOX... PS2 has more games,, but the x-box is coming strong now
By the way,, PS3 is coming out by 2004/5

Had I known!!! Guess I should've planned better. I think PS2 is like $200 with only 1 controller & no games.
I really wanna do it this X-Mas cause it'll be the big slammin' box under the tree for the household to open!!!

I recommend you get SOCOM, thats like the best military game out there, its probably better then metal gear solid, plus you can go online and play against other people..
