NBA Finals ratings are horrible

The final numbers for The Finals of Game 6; Spurs vs Nets.

The game got a 8.6 rating. This is reported as the worst ratings for an NBA finals since 1981. Let me remind you, CBS used to tape delay the finals afer 11:00 up until 1983.

Was this series that bad in lack of offense, or are we still suffering from post MJ syndrome?

Here's the problem why the casual fan did not watch. Duncan is a good guy, he was never caught at the strip club. The Nets are.. in Jersey!! Look, last year the game was horrible because The Fakers sweept NJ and the year before when there was two big market teams in The LA Fakers and Phila. 76ers. The ratings still sucked, and AI and Shaq are the leagues two biggest stars. Basicly, we miss MJ, Magic and Bird.

Just a few more would have watched because of Kobe and Shaq. And the Sixers because of Iverson. But even they had falling ratings.

The fact is ladies and Gentlemen, NBA Finals ratings stink, The NHL almost have no audience and Baseball parks are not being filled. Only two sports in the US are highly succesful in ratings and attendance and that's;

The NFL and NASCAR!!!

i love football!!! cant wait for this season to start already football is more xciting specially in da playoffz once ju looooosssse jur out lol!! im a sixer fan but they need better players around iverson example look at jersey they got players who can step up almost anytime unlike the sixers..they made it to da finals but came short no 1 couldnt guard duncan or robinson betta luck next year!

mann hell yea i agree with you how long did it take the phillies to sign someone good lol almost 10 years...they should b ok next year well i hope they get somewhere this year...as da eagles they got a good squad...but the sixers ugh keep derrick n get rid of d other onez lol
