sup people!! im sure u guys have heard by now that napster will no longer be free as of july, ive heard that it will cost $5 american/month, does any one know how much it will cost?? what do u guys think about this? do u guys use napster a lot ???

I think it's bull that we gotta pay for Napster now! Why should I pay? I have a big library of some hard to find songs and why should I pay to share them? I shouldn't have to pay anything!
 
I don't see how they can stop people from using their software. There's so many other servers apart from the napster servers that you can connect to to share your files. Get napigator, you'll see what I mean. Maybe clubfreestyle.com can set up a napster server and then we can share our songs over there. Unless they do something to render the software useless... that's different. But even then, crackers will have a warez copy out 2 days after the stupid 'pay to use napster' shit is put into effect (if that's the case).

i totally agree with both of you guys, i'm almost 100% sure that there will be a warez copy out there very soon after this takes effect, u just have to know where to get it. So i'm very sure that even though napster won't be free, it will however still be free for many people that know where to get the crack for it!! like me !! hehehe

So let me get this straight, the way you guys are saying it its official???.....Napster is going to be a pay server from now on?? That's really shitty, but there's like a million other free servers out there that are going to gain popularity over Napster if they decide to become a pay server.

If it's the napster server that becomes pass protected for members only, then you can connect to other napster servers (i use napigator for this. I don't have a url for it, sorry). You'll still be using the napster software, only you'll just be connected to a different server.

I got the word yesterday that napster lost their court case and they're going to be going down, its just a matter of time. Anyone know when this is exactly going to happen ...... just so that I put aside enough time to tax all the freestyle I can get......lol

u can get napigator at www.download.com and search for napigator. and for those people that don't know how or where to get a crack just keep ur eyes open on the forums...

No its not going to go down, they're going to make it a pay site, but for now nothing's official yet......that's what I was told late last night, there's going to be another ruling soon, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. But if it does go through, then napster's servers is going to go down sooner than we think and once they go back up, they're all going to be pay servers.
