The CD was jam packed full of good to excellent songs. It pretty much had a mixture of everything in there in which personally, I found it interesting but because of it,mainstream might have trouble in establishing tka in a category. This could also affect the future of forever. You have straight 70's like house going right into latin pop to breakfreestyle/pop to slow soul music to slow hip hop/ R and B type stuff. I've rated this album from two perspectives from the likes of mainstream and 2 from myself. I enjoyed almost every track on the cd while others are just bound to grow on me (feel the music, move out the way, in, out). one song, at first listen that gave me goosebumps was "when will i c u" 1. because I had no idea this version was going to be this good. 2. It was freestyle, excellent 2G freestyle. 3. I felt it was something that will definitely appeal the masses if given its proper airplay. Now, on the mainstream side, I feel that only two songs on this cd will stand a chance....1. when will I C U and 2. Love Conquers All just because of it being in tune with the likes of todays sound. To me the house tracks were all disco feel tracks and people who have produced disco like tracks have hit the floor terribly. Ifeel these tracks would appeal the over seas crowds as i've compared it to Robbie Williams who seems to be really popular in the UK and England who is having less success in the US. My advice would be to remix "in a manner" to a more updated and popular keeping their originality and to release "sexual fantasy", "when will I c u", and "ove conquers all" in order to stand a chance out there. I'm only saying this on behalf of the mainstream's demands. To me, i'm satisfied. What an album guys! Thanks! So was this album worth my $17.99 for a creative excellent wel composed cd? Hell Yes!!!

You are very in touch with music!!!

I agree with some of your input ,But not all of what you said will hold true when it comes to the final word, which will be based on the fans both old and new.

When it comes to the new tka forever album.
I'll let you in on some facts about the creative force behind the album.
(on there own)
#1. k- 7, song writer/artist with a gold album under his belt

#2. tony - As an executive producer/song writer/manager as a platinum plaqe under his belt.

#3. angel - as song writer / artist has a r&b top 10 single under his belt.

#4. one of the producers "mate" has in the past worked with kool and the gang. And has produced countless amounts of music with in the music biz.

Tka to date have sold over 1.5 million records in the last 10+ years,

So with all this experiance surrounding an album dont you think what you have said falls a little short ,

As soon as the targeted market gets hold of the concept behind the album and songs off the album begin to cross over this album will be a huge seller.

Ok, It's time to leave the freestyle world for a minute. That's true. They have a really good history. The only problem is people have forgotten about them, MTV, in review shows fails to mention tka's past so whos going to remember or know them? Im not being cruel in anyway by what I said but it's what they do now that will affect tka's future, not the past. I should be wrong about my statement but again, no one on t.v. ever brings up tka nor in stations. It's like they want to purposely forget about those acts. Now usually, by having history people would love you no matter what and 'll be on tv and gettin airplay. But this is only because these artists are never forgotten. For instance Maddona. It seems like ANY song she puts out seems to turn to gold. If a new and upcoming artist other than Madonna were to release "what it feels like for a girl" do you think this would jump start an artists career? I surely dont think so. But yet, Madonna doesnt seem to have trouble with it, as a matter of fact she once again, as with all singles, jumps onto the charts with it. This is only because of her history, she's madonna the "material girl" "so sure I have to like it." Anyway, People are not gonna go for the old tka but the new tka. They have regain their recognition just because mainstream out there has totally forgotten about them. People wont know their history and achievements unless they listen to the new tka. I'm in no way doubting their capabilities or what they have achieved. im looking at this from the facts of life. From my musical experience stand point. But, life is weird, anything can happen out there, so you just never know. Like I said if we play the role as "fans" and introduce/ promote this music to the people who are not quite familiar with it and they seem to dig it, I dont see anything that should go wrong. So let's call in to whatever single put out, buy copies to your local station so they'll have it up in their library and request it. Also, write letters (letters work) about your concerns about tka. Email MTV, let them know tka has an album out and you want to see their video on there in the future.

here's my BELT!.lol

lets add a little fuel to the fire ,shall we?

Love.

THAT'S RIGHT LET'S LAY DOWN THE FACTS:

MR. RAMOS IN NO WAY WAS I TRYING TO LEAVE YOU OUT, YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY A PRODUCER WITH AN EXTENSIVE TRACK RECORD. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO MENTION EVERYONE'S TRACK RECORD, THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT.

LET'S ADD TO THE LIST THE LEGENDARY NELSON GONZALEZ WHICH HAS WORKED ON JAY LO'S ALBUM AND MANY OTHER ARTIST'S ALBUMS.

MY INPUT CAME FROM HAVING TO RESPOND TO THE THREAD THAT WAS SET FORTH ENTITLED "MY WHOLE TAKE ON FOREVER" IT WAS KIND OF ME JUST WANTING TO EDUCATE THE FANS , D.J'S OR ANY OTHER MUSIC INDUSTRY FOLKS THAT DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE THE MUSICAL FORCE BEHIND THE TKA ALBUM IT'S DUE RESPECT.

THIS ALBUM SHOULD NOT BE COMPARED IN ANY WAY TO ANY OTHER ARTIST'S RELEASE.

THE POINT THAT I AM TRYING TO MAKE IS : THE MUSICAL FORCE BEHIND THE ALBUM CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THESE RECORDS NOT BEING ON THE AIR YET, FOR VIDEOS NOT BEING PRODUCED YET.

THESE ARE ALL THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECORD LABEL (TOMMY BOY). SO IF ANY MARKETING SCHEMES OR THOUGHTS OF WHAT THE NEXT SINGLE SHOULD BE OFF OF THE TKA FOREVER ALBUM SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO TKA MANAGEMENT AND LETTERS OF ENDORSEMENT SHOULD BE SENT TO TOMMY BOY RECORDS.

It's all good!!

Hey Jayhova, i didnt mean to sound like i was lashing out at you for leaving me out,i just saw a perfect opportunity to toot my own horn and could'nt resist..lol..I'm just happier than a pig in sh*t and pretty darned excited at my accomplishments.I mean let's be real!! who would'nt be?..lol...but yes i happen to agree with you on your point.now here's my Point...for some reason, people think that I just jumped out of nowhere and they somehow claimed that this was my first "Major" project. but i'll have you know that prior to the release of "Forever", i've gotten very good reveiws(in Billboard Mag) and other respected Music publications on records i have not only produced but also written.I trust i will see the same for "U dont feel it".for those who think that my success rides on my Engineering alone, I say this..you are sadly mistaken.. and i'd like to think that "U dont feel it" defied that notion.

jayhova, you must be thinkg...where's all this sh*t coming from?..lol...thanx for listening.

Hey Edwin, it's me........ Bubbleboyv. Remember? I havent forgotten about you. You know I loved that track more than anything, I told you. My ratings were based on mainstreams stand point, as I have said in the beginning. I personally thought the album was excellent.

Exactly when did I claim to be in "The Biz"???

Also, what should people have learned (myself included) from reading this thread?

Oy yeah and BTW - I see you are just a 'Freestyler', so what's your point?

MIS LEAD

THAT THE CREW BEHIND THE FOREVER ALBUM ARE GOLD AND PLATINUM SONG WRITERS AND PRODUCERS.

BUT WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT YOU LOVE THE UNDER GROUND THAT DONT SELL NO RECORDS.

LISTEN TALK TO ME WITH RESPECT AND YES IVE ONLY BEEN IN THIS SITE FOR A FEW POSTS.

THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY RESPONCES.

CAREFUL HOW YOU TALK TO PEOPLE NEVER KNOW WHO HAS MY BACK. FEEL ME.

First - you asked the question "Did you learn something by reading this post?"...

I answered...

Then you respond agressively...

I replied in the same manner as you, but now YOU feel disrespected!?!?!?
(perhaps we both came off in the wrong way???)

LMAO, C'mon if you want my respect that is not a problem. All I ask is for the same in return...

Anyways, I am really through discussing the entire TKA - FOREVER topic. I have said my peace on more than one occassion (I hope you can respect my decision to not comment any further).

As far as the underground releases go, yes it is true. I am a hardcore, die-hard Freestyle fan.
