With all do respect -Many people and myself are "CRINGING" at the horrible job an attempt "TO KILL WHAT WE KNOW AS FREESTYLE TODAY" in todays genre of "DANCE/FREESTYLE" which has seemingly died an came back so many times which goes back & forth quite a bit and now more than ever It is harder and harder to find quality "FREESTYLE MUSIC" today!!!! Well this is In regards to a classic track that "EMPIRE" Has just killed in many eyes by this attempt from "FIRST LOVE" to make a hit for themselves, regardless of what you used to go under as "HOT PRODUCTIONS" that pumped out quite a bit of hits for this "GENRE" of music today!
You have just destroyed "FANTASY GIRL" for alot of people!!!
Did johnny give permission and If he did I'm sure he hasn't heard the final cut!? Makes me wanna throw up........
*But my opinion is my own and I'm sure no wait I'm positive other people feel the same way!*

".........very tacky version of the Origninal "Fantasy Girl", nuff said, Personal Statment: "IF IT AINT BROKEN, THEN DONT FIX IT"

"tacky just about does it,, u can also choose cheesy,, i feel bad for the group itself not to diss them but thats not the way they should have come out...just makes them look bad."

against crapstyle. Let's tell them how we feel and give them an
opportunity to show us quality freestyle."

"While Johnny O is no superstar in my area of Canada, the freestyle remake of 'fantasy girl' in the 2 step genre is not the best production out there, but not that bad either for those who do not know the original; and there are tons of new freestylers out there in that predicament.
In my opinion, The First Love track certainly compares or is superior to the poor quality of the more recent Johnny O album; both are sub-par and a shame to freestyle genre.
And for the 'self control' remake, the short sample provided (track 1) is actually not bad although not innovative. The Laura Branigan song has been covered in freestyle over and over, most recently with MC G. Gabriel and Ceres in Germany. A lot of today's teens have no idea of the original and I find this remake is decent at best.
The label appears to have a huge roster of unknown rap singers and groups and this First Love pressing seems like another cd that will surely gather dust in the boxes at the back of empirewerks offices."

Thats fukin horrible, i mean DAM Who in the hell told him he could sing, and that beat is the worst i've ever heard, it sounds like a cheap HOUSE beat.....or something...i dont know....kill em, kill em all..........lol

If the vocals didn't make me twinge --- look what they did to FANTASY GIRL....
I was at the point that I was going to give this company points for at least putting out GH when no one else seemed to want to take a chance on them ----> crap even if they are re-records with perhaps a new track tossed in ....this was just plain CRUEL.

What's up? You really tore my ear drums apart with that one. What the phuck are they thinking about? Don't ever, ever do that again. They totally sucked. I could've done a better job than they did. I hope there's no more where that came from. Peace! -1
Just some honest CRITISM did you want it? My guess would be yes, I mean why would you wanna put something out that is gonna get a reaction like this? I'm sorry but this is all true and from different people!!!!!! SAD BUT TRUE! You messed up with this and Will I get a reply I hope so A reply is most deserving to the fans and to me! We want to know!!
