My First Poem-- "...Stop The Rain"

Alright this is my first poem, I'm new to this so please tell me if it's good or not.

"...Stop The Rain"

Dark clouds above me, with tears from heaven falling to the ground
How hard it is to my myself being back around.

Back where I started not so long ago,
Alone and broken hearted, But I'll never let that show.

The rain, it keeps falling from the sky,
It reminds me of those many times I cry.

But I know that the sun will again someday shine,
Just as I know my heart will one day be fine.

There will be no more sorrow, there will be no more pain,
Things will get better for me, if someone would just stop the rain.

Thank you for the nice comments, I used to be good at writing stories, but kinda thot poetry was lame. Now losing the love of my life has opened me up a lil, I think I'm starting to get what poetry is all about. Inspiration for the poem comes from the 5 straight days of rain that we've had here. And of course to my ex as well for ripping my heart in two. I will be posting more in do time, it feels good to get the emotions out.
