ive always been a monte fan. i had 2 montes. you would not belive how easy it is to maintain a monte over a camaro. for instance, a fuel pump on a monte is roughly $25. its located on the side of the engine and takes 5 minutes to take off and put a new one on. did it all by myself!!!

a camaro's fuel pump....well....i found out the hard way that its at least $300!!!! not only that, you have to drop the gas tank!!! and i order to drop the tank, you have to let the rear downn and drop the exhaust!!! it cost me $500!!!

lord knows why i bought a second camaro!

the 2003 monte ss looks pretty hot!! my neighbor just got one!! (i told her how bad i wanted it and since that day, she stopped parking it in front of my house!)

too baD they canceled the camaro series. 2002 was the last year for the original muscle car! 🙁
 
kenny hun.. i went to the international car show and seen the last of camaros and trans ams... it makes me cry every time i roll the tape i filmed... i mean i couldn't get out of the car for 20 mins straight!!!

yeah 2003 monte's are way better looking than the older kind lol
 
im not into north american cars at all but afor some reason i will not die till i get my camaro ss its just that solid lol

UGH! Ya really like the new ones over the 80's?

the new ones are front wheel drive v-6's with no t-top options.

the 80's are all rear wheel with v-8's and with t-tops. I would definetly pick the 80's version over the latest one.
 
lol Kenny i was saying look-wise hun... hell of course i LOOOOVE my t-tops and my V8 engine... i love it too much 😀

i personally think v6 shouldn't exist if there is a V8 is that model lol... like people get a V6 camaros and mustangs.. that kills me :crap
 
I ran into a guy yesterday with the 2002 ss and he said in 2004, theyre releasing a rear wheel drive, v-8 MONTE SS!!! but no t-tops!!

i wont ever get a car again with no t-tops/ragtop!

I dont know. GM is a really, wachy car maker. I dont understand why they dont keep the camaro because it feeds the need to car enthusiasts and also to keep up with the mustang. they seem to be going back an fourth now with the monte and the camaro. but frankly, i may get a new camaro over the monte just for the mere fact that the monte isnt availible with a the convertible option. if i really want a convertible for my monte, i would have to pay $5000 and ship it a 1000 miles to a place in florida!
