Not Freestyle but, thought I'd share this for some opinions 🙂
VIVENDI SUBPOENAED
Music giant caught up in Murder (Inc.).
*Entertainment conglomerate Vivendi Universal is in
trouble thanks to investigations of the company’s record
label Murder Inc.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Federal agents
served grand jury subpoenas to the company’s New
York offices Thursday in regard to a money-laundering
investigation of Murder Inc.
According to reports, Vivendi-Universal is required
to turn over royalty records, invoices, and other financial
data in regard to Murder Inc founder Irv Gotti and Kenneth
McGriff. McGriff is a convicted drug lord who allegedly
ruled the crack trade in Jamaica, Queens in the ‘80s.
This is the latest move in the investigation. Two weeks
ago, Murder Inc. offices were raided, seizing computers,
files, and bank accounts.
Authorities claim that Gotti provided acts to appear
for free in McGriff’s indie film “Crime Partners 2000,” and
that Gotti got a $500,000 advance for the Island Def Jam
umbrella to do work on the soundtrack. However,
McGriff’s people say there was “nothing illicit
about the business relationship between
Gotti and McGriff.”
LOL I don't know if you saw the video clip with Ja rule
he had a quick little shout out ( something like) stacks of money backed by my supreme team rep. LOL See The FCC does listen.. either that or someone ratted 🙂 what do you think!!
