So here we are on another Thanksgiving. Amazing how the years just seem to roll right past us.
I can still remember those days, listening to some of the hottest freestylist while traveling on the Palasades PKWY headed to Bear MTN.
Few things back in those days I never really paid much attention to was the littlest things around us we take for granted. There's a lot of them so I won't go into detail but you know what, if you actually take time out and look at your self in the mirror and you see something wrong or that you dont like what you see? Change it.
For better or worse, change it. I for one will be spending some time this year volunteering my services (In Uniform) to some of the halfway houses in and out of the City. (Serving hot meals and delivering MRE's for the less fortunate.
It's easy to walk past them and not look at them, but really, is the heart that cold where we have forgotten that humanity itself in a whole if worked as a team, the less fortunate would be less fortunate. If you cant volunteer your services, then goto church and drop off a check in the basket. A percentage of what the Church brings in goes to halfway houses so you'll still be doing your duty as a chaotic GOOD person.
What opened my eyes? My prior deployments to other countries like Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and others.
Some may find this message in-appropriate, I'm sorry. But you know what? The time of the season where one who used to have and doesn't anymore is coming up. And the best gift to give to a less fortunate is "Hope". Now I'm not saying hand him a "Dead President" and be on your way, actually, what would be better is a combo meal from BK or MC'Deez. Litte bit is better than nothing. And when you do do something like this, it makes your soul feel so much better with itself. Trust me, I do this a lot.
Without further aduex, I leave thee. But know this, for thy glorious of the Angels shall follow thee, do what is Righteous and you will be rewarded.
