THIS POEM WAS DEDICATED TO MY *FIRST TRUE LOVE*
after we broke up 🙁
You say you miss me so much
And you're longing just to feel my touch
You shattered what i called my world
You cheated on me with another girl.
You talk about her constantly
Dont you see what thats doing to me?
It hurts me more every day
Knowing that you got your way
I know you're going to see her again
As i sit here trying to be your "best friend"
As i try and slowly move on with my own life,
You confront me with mad strife,
You just dont get it
I could never say you're mine again
And now i KNOW we're only friends
You want it to work just one more time
You just wont accept HIM being mine.
How can i trust you?
How can i tell my friends?
This was the story, that never ends.
I want to be with someone new,
Yet you convince me to stay with you
You can do what ever you want with who you choose
But when i try and play that game,
Somehow i ALWAYS lose.
This is so hard and confusing to me
Im taking it one dat at a time slowly.
We'll see how it goes
We'll chill for a while,
Maybe someday you can bring back my smile,
Baby you'll always be my first love, that you know
I will never forget you, I love you Joe.
