I'm not gonna go nuts cause you're right, it's called an opinion. But I strongly disagree about Johny O and Cynthia and Lil Suzy. I adore Johny O's music, Cynthia? Lord have mercy. And lil suzy who kicks ass too. Lyrics that are inspiring. And this is coming from a guy who has GREAT taste in mostly EVERYTHING. At least that is what many people say nice about me. LOL

I don't know who Denine is. 😱 lol

God bless Freestyle, there is no words to describe those masterpieces. Great music could never die, everything is all based on money. It's also embarrasing how these songs were made years ago, and what plays today on the radio, is god awful, cheesy, and pasted lyrics rapidly.

See don't get me wrong cause I'm a fan of Cynthia'and her songs BUT LOTSA of people got her down like she is an excellent vocalist when she is nowhere near say someone of Judy torres' apacity...
Just because Cynthia got classic material which unarguably she certainly does BUT come on she ain't all that!!

I actually still don't feel the girls in the genre get as much support as I think they should (again, purely my OPINION, ok, don't be throwing eggs at me please).

And don't get me wrong, because I like JO, GL and TKA - I even like their new stuff!
 
I agree with Enigma...I don't think Cynthia, Johny O and Lil Suzy are overrated I believe they worked hard to get this far then again its called an opinion right? on the other hand there are alot who are underrated in my eyes!but like Anthony said that's a different thread...😀
 
No freestyle artist is overrated. Those who are overrated goes by the names of Britney, Nsync, BSB, Destiny's Child(oh I forgot, Beyonce's group!). Freestyle lives forever. As a DJ I'm trying to give it love down here in DC.
 
DC - now there's an area overlooked for freestyle - it's a much smaller space, but the same mix of people as in NY or FL - hmmm
