I agree Malo .... Janet is an awesome writer, performer, artist, and entertainer.... as for her name.... she has Long ago proved to the world that she just isn't a sibling..... NOT all Jackson siblings did it like her and Michael.

true...and by 94 when her "janet." album came out she tried to drop
the last name thats why she put a period after Janet, but of course it didn't
work...she'll always be Miss Jackson if ya nasty! lol

but she did all her albums from control on without her parents.
her 1st 2 albums "janet jackson" and "dream street" were
pretty much flops. and those are the only 2 that she did with
her father. so the way i see it, she made it for herself...
 
I also happen to think that Usher is overated. He is an awesome performer that I will give him credit for but his vocals are just alright. If it wasn't that (quoting my 8yr daughter) that he is a cutie he would be nowhere.

she can drop her last name all she wants. she's still a jackson. if she makes a bad record her fans are still going to buy it just because they love her. she is over rated because if you can dance but not sing you may put on a good show but your vocals still suck so how can really be all that? look at jlo and paula abdul. yes they can bust a move but can the really sing? i know paula hasn't been out for years but she was over rated too. i guess you are a big janet fan so its all good. to me she can't sing and i will never buy her stuff. again that just my opinion.

are you from this planet? ursher could never be over rated. he can sing, dance,write,produce and he looks good. unlike some of these people with record contracts that can't sing. yes he gets a lot of air play because everything he puts out is dope. when im not listening to my first love (freestlye) i listen to ursher because he can really sing! meanwhile im sorry to say that there are many freestlye singers that can't hold a note to ursher. the only ones with the package (vocals,dance,looks) are george lamond and joey kid. these are the only guys that even come close and they could never be over rated.

Are you serious? I can name at least 10 that would blow usher away! Not demeaning his skills but he's definately not all that.

Last I looked I was from this planet and just like you I am entitle to my own opinion but do me a favor keep it civil. As for my comments on Usher I still feel the same way, I never said he didn't have skills or star power but his vocal are still what they are "okay".

I didn't take it personal Nya & Chuck. I was just suprised to see thier names listed, that's all. I personally don't listen to that style of music but I do think that they are great vocalists and don't think that they are considered over rated.
